It's actually Derek Dingle's version of a Larry Jennings trick titled "Ambitious Classic". You can find it in The Classic Magic of Larry Jennings". Thanks for watching and have a great weekend...
I learned the routine from "The Complete Works of Derek Dingle" authored by Richard Kaufman. It's explained really well... Good luck and thanks for taking the time to watch.
Very similiar routines. I like the "miscall" sequence of Dingle's routine which specifically is why I perform that one. Thanks for the comment and question...
@887934 i was just getting ready to say that. its just a different story.something tells me this derrick guy likes to do alot of larry jennings tricks.
I think i prefer the Jennings version but fair enough. I thought your patter was a bit slow but i bet it kills live. Performing something like this for a cam is a bit...weak. Compared to a live performance anyway.
Jennings version is great, no doubt. You should check out Cervon's version as well. In Ultra Cervon I believe. Performing for a camera that doesn't interact with you sucks. No comparison to an engaged audience. That's what close-up is all about, right?
Thanks very much for taking a look. Yes, the Dingle book in general brings back many fond magic memories. I worked at a magic shop in Southern CA and used to sell that book demoing this trick, Quick D-way, and his handling of Gypsy Curse. Suck great material!!!! Have a good one!!!
Thanks! I don't perform either one of those routines, but I think Wonder's "Tamed Card" is pure genius!!! What a huge loss in our little world. Wonder was one of my favorites of all time.
Thanks Eddie!! I checked out some of your videos. Great job back at you!!! Definitely will be posting more routines in the next few weeks. We like much of the same material.
Great routine ! Done perfect Glen !!

Great performance. You did it really well. I know the trick and I still can't follow the moves you did lol. It was very smooth.

I think it would be good if at the end, the card says "too many cards".

This trick brings back memories. This was one of the first pure sleight of hand tricks I ever learned. Your handling was very clean.
