  • All three dislikes must be Obozo voters in the USA

    Robin is still the Man

    BlueRoy58

  • classic song from a classic band!

  • they play a lot better than many younger

  • can't argue with a Whitehorn(e) - hats off to me distant cuz.

  • the whiskey train is drinen by a paorthach. wud someone get dem woff tones off our backs

  • maravilloso

  • you could try running the video through "deshaker" sofware

  • Why are people so bloody critical: 'needs Robin'; 'needs...a better guitar player'; 'needs BJ' etc.? It's bloody well played. Geoff Whitehorn is a world-class guitarist and he and Gary Brooker clearly have a great deal of respect for each other. It doesn't need the original players, because great songs deserve to be heard played in different ways. I personally prefer Mark Brzezicki's drumming but that doesn't stop me appreciating Geoff Dunn (?sp). Critics, try and do better yourselves.

  • Good Music

  • procal haram an under ratted group in deed

  • chunter5100 I was at that concert too, Robin playing the black Les Paul.

    Truly a great show

  • I actually got to see them do this at the Santa Monica Civic in 1970...but with BJ Wilson and Robin Trower...it was a life changing experience...I can tell you that...

  • I bet this rocked live! great player

  • Great Guitar by Geoff Whitehorn. These two Guys talking about a better Guitar Player ;or Robin - have no idea what they are talking about. Sometimes its better to look for informations about this fantastic guitar player. That,s it

  • One of the BEST Classic bands ever!!

  • Gibson Les Paul. Great rocking ballsy guitar.

  • Great performance. Needs B.J. Wilson, though. This guy's merely great. B.J's playing on this song was beyond belief.

  • Needs Robin!

  • Needs Matthew!

    And a better guitar player.

  • Ha - saw PH at American University in DC about 1969, an outdoor show in winter, go figure -- remember this song particularly

  • @SupernalOne Haha REMEMBER..Really? Wish I could.

  • grandiosi

  • Fantastic! Cary Brooker? It's the same damn vocals! The guy can still bring it.

  • In a way it's a sort of shock to see these passionate and talented young men have become middle-aged (tho what else?), but still it's very nice to see them rocking on unabated. Why can't any of the current-generation alt bands play decent lead guitar?

  • Great cowbell!

  • Too bad someone couldn't figure out how to hold the camera still..This really hurts the eyes to watch..but the sound was great

  • I'm sorry... but it's a document, no professional video. Was produced by micro digital photo camera.

  • Trower is god, but Whitehorn is a good guitarist though.

  • You must be tone deaf!

Sorry, I just don't hear that.

    Peace

    jude

  • He is taking one for the team playing this song but that being said.....Ok fine. Nothing against the man but, shouldn't the guitarist in Procol Harum - the guitarist who is on the stage PLAYING ACROSS FROM GARY be a little bit more than just good???? I admit to being hyper critical when it comes to things Procol but I'm looking for more. The riffs anyone can have, but the soul? well.... The soul is so hard to find.

  • ok, there are different opinions. I'm a Paler from the beginning. I know Trower very well and I was following his footsteps over the Bridge of Sighs. But Hell, I have seen Whitehorn half a dozen times playing with Procol and sorry - I can hear a soul playing, when the Whitehorn-Guitar is singing. Read my last report on procolharum-com and add /005/basel_ah-_pix.htm

  • i AGREE!! THIS GUY DID GREAT EVOKING ROBINS OLD LES PAUL TONE!!

    AWESOME!!!!

  • It'sjust not right without Trower.

    jude

  • I agree and a great deal to do with the sad absence of BJ Wilson as well!

  • Easy to see why Trower struck out on his own after A> discovering the Fender strat, B> discovering Hendrix, and C> writing his own guitar oriented songs. We are all the better for it (nothing against Procol).

  • Where's TROWER?

  • just finished touring here in april

  • Great, thanks.

  • Sorry.........You ( NEED ) Trower !!!!!!
