WTF, this is Bladurs Gate Dark Alliance from Ps2, released back in 2005-2006

Dark Alliance came out in 2002, and while Champions of Norrath uses a modified Dark Alliance engine, they are not the same game nor are they in the same series. Champions came out in 2005 and it may or may not be what you're thinking of.

Dear god, what a ridiculous unfair pile of crap.

Not to mention, the camera angles are awkward as hell.

Also, what's with the whole "MONSTERS AND SHIT NEVER RESPAWN" deal? I can't get the fucking money for decent shit, when the only stuff still alive kills me in 2 hits.

The games need to be played with two or more players to have any amount of fun, really. When you do play with 2-4 players, though, it's pretty addicting.

And yeah, Return to Arms is very, very unfair for one player. The game more or less expects you to either have a decently leveled up character from the first game, or a friend or two. The first Champions is a lot easier for one player.

Also I believe monsters don't respawn so you can't whore EXP and the items they drop so the game kind of expects you to be a certain level (Return to Arms, however, doesn't seem to be like this).

In any case, I recommend playing with at least one other person. Me and Retro have been playing Return to Arms for a while trying to beat it and we play for hours on end each time.
