  • anybody mind telling me the strumming pattern for the verse and chorus

  • that acoustic sounds awsome

  • Hey Eric, not commented for a while as normally i pick it all up no problem, however at around 7.24 on the video, you explaining the chorus as C Em D...repeated, then you say Cm Em D, but think you still play a regular C chord. Just want to play it right... i assume it is a regular C. Great work , big fan of your site!

  • @simon2000ukuk My bad! Yes, it's C, NOT C-. Sorry about that.

    Thanks for the kind words!

  • dude ur vids r awsome just one question why do some of the notes require u to lift a finger while playing a chord?

  • Your voice sounds like Jack black at 2:54 =D

  • Dude thanks so much for the lessons and the encouragement, you are definitely imparting a plethora of knowledge onto us. I even caved and bought your cord book. Could you or anyone reading couple the strumming of the intro with D. I have the pattern down but cant seem to follow the pattern of when to change between the two notes.

  • How about some tips on playing while standing?

  • What is the chord in the verse after the D, is it Am7?

    Thanks

Your welcome babe and anytime x

  • for the intro bit, you should lift off and hammer on with your index finger(3rd string 2nd fret) not your middle. jus FYI im not one 2 correct you.

Thank you spudy :) Always appreciate the kind comments.

  • @guitarsage

anytime babe, you totally rock, you have helped me and my lil girl so much, and we truly appreciate everything you do xx

  • @yourguitarsage I see the band in this video v=M2czFGyMipY at 0:53, they play the intro with D but instead of remove the 2nd finger of the 1st chord like you do (and i like how it sounds, but), they remove the 1st finger of the 3rd chord. you can see by yourself. Anyways thanks for the explanation!

  • I got your charts. It would be great if you wrote out the strum pattern you use on the top of your handwritten charts. Even a UUDD would be helpful. That would make my ten bucks and even better deal!!!
