I love the way you break it down for the more experienced players, no nonsense, then you give the beginners the particulars. Awesome way to do a lesson. Thanks for the help bro!
Hey Eric, not commented for a while as normally i pick it all up no problem, however at around 7.24 on the video, you explaining the chorus as C Em D...repeated, then you say Cm Em D, but think you still play a regular C chord. Just want to play it right... i assume it is a regular C. Great work , big fan of your site!
Dude thanks so much for the lessons and the encouragement, you are definitely imparting a plethora of knowledge onto us. I even caved and bought your cord book. Could you or anyone reading couple the strumming of the intro with D. I have the pattern down but cant seem to follow the pattern of when to change between the two notes.
hey man i just purchased your e-book and its absolutely amazing! Ive only been following your videos for a couple days when i decided to get the book and im so glad i did. It's so helpful and i cant thank you enough, especially all of the extra charts you've provided! Thank you!!!
@yourguitarsage I see the band in this video v=M2czFGyMipY at 0:53, they play the intro with D but instead of remove the 2nd finger of the 1st chord like you do (and i like how it sounds, but), they remove the 1st finger of the 3rd chord. you can see by yourself. Anyways thanks for the explanation!
I got your charts. It would be great if you wrote out the strum pattern you use on the top of your handwritten charts. Even a UUDD would be helpful. That would make my ten bucks and even better deal!!!
geeting the strum pattern by ear is an experience thing, listen closely and try to replicate it. Do it over and over again until you get it. It just takes practice and patience :)
Man, you're creating a generation of musicians just singing "somethin' somethin' somethin'" all the time. Love it! Don't need to say this is another top class lesson, do I? Thank you so much for your efforts!
What's your accent, I've moved all over the east coast and it sounds familiar
