David Yates has to be the best harry potter directer out of all of the directers that the fim franchise has had, the passion that he has with every film that he has directed can be seen, truely an amazing directer, cant wait intill the dvd come out.

I really hope we get to see all the deleted scenes on the DVD this time. In the previous hp DVDs we didn't get to see all the deleted scenes they shot.

Throwing stones, hunting a rabbit... admittedly the Harry/Petunia deleted scene sounds good but I hope there are more than that.

There are lots of things they (understandably) cut from the movie, which I'd love to see on the DVD. Things such Lily's letter and Dudley's handshake were filmed, so fingers crossed we'll see those.

Although (spoiler alert) apparently there's an alternate ending where Dobby lives

i've watched in an interview with david yates that they deleted this "tender ron and hermione scene" where the two are having their moment near the lake....gggrrrr!

, i think david yates is the best director the series has had, the others were fantastic but david just raised the game, cant belive it's 7 months till the next, far too long, and it doesn't need to be that long, they shoudl of just let part 1, run it's time in the cinema till feburary/march then once they take it out, and release the dvd, part 2 is in the cinema, so people are buying dvd, watching then they buying a cinema ticket to see part 2, huge boost in sales.

I love hearing David Yates talk about the movies because its obvious how much passion he has for what he's doing and how badly he wants to get it right. Though you may question some of his stylistic choices, there's no denying that he works is arse off.

Personally, I thought DHP1 was brilliant. They nailed the tone of the film perfectly.
