This song was written as a tribute to AC/DC. It was written the day after Joe Perry was at an AC/DC concert in Miami

AC/DC used to open for them in the late 70's and Joe Perry said it's the only opening band that he ever watched from the side of the stage every night because they were that good. He loved them. After seeing them in concert while making this album, he came in and said that he wanted to write something with a "whole lotta rosie" type energy. He wrote this as a tribute to how good he thought AC/DC was. He said all this in the book AC/DC, Maximum rock and roll.

Well I knew that ACDC were opening Aerosmith's gigs, in late 70's, but I didn't know that Joe Perry wrote Nine Lives, under influence of ACDC. Well it's cool thing. Thanx for those info.

thanks man! this was actually the first video i ever edited in my life, some years ago. now i work editing videos at college. lol. when i have a new and better computer, i plan to make a new aerosmith video, but now it's actually imposible. -_-
