Their harmonies are sublime, better IMO than The Byrds, Beach Boys, mainly because of how well they project, the blending is similar, but they project like MAD! With "Punk and Alternative" becoming mainstream, this is the only direction I see that's really "alternative" I put Band of Horses , and The Shins before them in a similar category of amazing bands that sound better live than in studio.
