These are excellent, articulate critiques of the performances. The cool thing is, the commentary here tends to breed better, deeper, more thoughtful comments from all the respondents. The lead video really sets the table for how the entire discussion goes. This has become my first stop after the Sunday Best episodes. We need to help get this guy as a call in on Tom Joyner, Steve Harvey, or Ricky's radio shows. How cool would that be!
@lorrell From the bottom of my heart , I say thank you, for your kind words, comments, thoughts and support. Since my very first video, I wanted to set the stage by being different. I have built my platform to be, just as you said, thought provoking, and not the "run of the mill" entertainment commentary. I have aligned my career as an entertainment publicist with that very platform. Again, I say thank you!
The most recent review video which you commented on has been deleted and reposted. Your comments and views are definately important to me and valuable to the video, so please take the time to watch the reposted video and comment, again. It is partially labeled as "reposted."
I have an advance degree in communication and your having deleted my response doesn't make it any less true. I am extremely articulate and have no reason to make false statements. Timesha Sampson's parents are very well connected COGICs. Her mother was in the audience and REALLY sang when the camera's were off. That's why she made top 10. Its not honest and that's the truth.
@JazzPurist First, I would like to let you know I appreciate you letting me know that I was not properly identifying the show. The proper adjusstments were made to the videos.
Its good to know that you are educated in the communications discipline with an advanced degree, as that makes the both of us! Also, my comments or deletions of yours in no way implied your statements of being false or you being anything less than articulate. I merely want all of us to be able to share our opinions,..
Scurilous? No, the powers that be at Sunday Best have behaved in an opprobrious manner having selected the top 10 long before the top 20 EVER got to Atlanta. Its all extremely political and sad.
@JazzPurist I am not saying that you cannot express your opinion. What I am saying is that we should be mindful of the way the opinion is articulated.
IT'S SUNDAY BEST, NOT SUNDAY'S BEST. You can delete my comments if you want, but I WAS THERE in Atlanta when they taped these shows in April, you weren't. I know the truth!
I have removed comments that were of a scurilous nature and simply lacked good taste. NO ONE will be allowed to slander anyone here or on any of the videos that I post. If that interests you, I suggest you find another channel to watch. I take negative commentary very seriously, and it will NOT be tolerated. There is no doubt in my mind that Michael Pugh is annointed and appointed. If I didnt know Jesus, he would make me want to know him, just by the annointing that is so apparent on his life.
Well first I must say that I know Michael personally and task ned to not past judgement.....if you are a True Christian you will not judge him.....he is not a performer.....he is an anointed minister of music....for you to say he was performing is like saying Donnie did not feel the presence of Jesus and he was just performing too!!! If you are ever in Queens, NY stop by the Greater Allen Cathedral....he always has the church on fire!!!!
Tonight definitely was a shocker for me. I didn't expect Mama Sue's departure. She brought so much life to this season. I wish her and Monica the best.

An individual with a modicum of education knows the past tense of "sing" is "sang"... not "sung". I'm just sayin'.

@JazzPurist Agreed.
