I love this show, although i heard that Kate and Aunt Jodie were in a fight because TLC wanted to pay Aunt Jodie for being on TV and helping the kids in about half the episodes, and then Kate had a big fit about it. Other than that its a cool show =)

Dont you think she should spend more time with her children and try and fix her relationship with her husband instead of going on all these book tours and speak outs? I dont think they want to work on it.. in the show both of them said they were there for their kids but they never said they wanted to be there for each other.. I know its her job but its also her job to be a mother.. With all the money they have earned through the show they can be okay for a while both of them just need to quit acting like children and help support the ones they have.. Again I love the show but it sucks with what they are going through.

Yes Kate can be a bitch, but her best interest is her children. I do think the show is running too long and may effect the kids when they begin school. I would like to see any one have 8 chilren under 10 and try to run a house without rules. she may go over board sometimes but how could things not get stressful? plus they are taped all day everyday and the show edits into a 1/2 episodes so im sure they cut out the good times because its not as entertaining.

I mean at least she's not some carefree lady whose to lazy to cook and feeds her kids fast food everyday and neglects her children. she is very much involved with them and i think she's a great mother. she may not be the best wife but when you have such a large plate youre going to have to come short somewhere, and im glad its not the mothering part

So they wanted people to see that they aren't just having kids and neglecting them. they are doing they're doing their best with a the amount of children they have. They didnt do it for publicity like they said, they just wanted one more, instead they were blessed with 8. they could've reduced it but they didn't believe in that (b/c its basically like abortion.) but your entitled to your opinion. but i like watching.

If you hate this show so much and dont watch it then how to you know that kate sits on her fat ass all day? Every episode i watch she seems to be running around cleaning everything. She even admits to haveing an ocd with it. i do agree with you that the show is running to long. the kids are getting older and should have a normal life. Although without this show they could not afford to provide for all 10 family members on just johns income. Kate is a bitch BUT those kids are her number 1!

that's a horrible thing to say. you are entitled to your own opinion but why are you so mean about it. kate does do laundry, everyday. she just doesn't do the large loads which are left to the lady who comes in and helps. but she constantly needs to do laundry b/c she has so many kids. i believe she does a great job with eight kids. i know a woman who left her kids b/c she couldn't handle 3 and another who neglects her children and she's got two. kates very involved. she's just really strict
