Probably because.. Jay needed Taec, like Nichkun, to translate korean to english for him sometimes and so got really close.

Honestly, from what i have seen i think Jay and Taec are probably the best of friends in 2pm although i am sure that all one day members are really close to each other. I think TaecBum are so close probably due to the fact that they went to college together. That's just my opinion though.
