Nice story, sad ending, so if the elve didn't put a spell on the mage, he could have saved her daughter. But was there a reason for the elve to put a spell on the mage? Interesting story. Peace out! Leon
The reason was not very important to me, I think I just made it some sort of useless jealousy thing which added some effect to the moral of the story about revenge and useless revenge.
Such a sad story...
And good reading! I think my favourite part was whenever the noise of a dropping orb appeared ;)

Its a really good story, write more. You have talent, and you can actually end a story well. I can't do that. I envy you.
