people dont get that Tarja had pretty much the most unique voice in all of rock music and theres no possible way you can be the same band and continue with that style once she was gone, its just not possible. nightwish isnt the same band as they were because of that, but they adapted wonderfully and still kept there basic roots but still manage damn good music with a more generic singer.
@Zarzarus8031 When the hell was the last time you were at a concert? The majority of singers I've seen live, especially those in metal bands, use microphones like that. Tarja certainly did. Having used a mic before (not singing, but still), you really do have to get close to them for it to fully register your voice. Plus in concerts like these she really has to make herself heard over the crowd, even with speakers.

This is the same problem I have with Guns And Roses ... the band died when Slash left. Nightwish died when they fired Tarja. And this poor girl was a wrong choice to replace her. She will live forever under a huge shadow. That can't be nice at all. I mean, SHE TRIES, the poor thing ... she's just never gonna make it.
