Sad to say, but I've nearly beaten this game 3 times now. I'm on Nox Obscurus on Chaos. I remember beating the final boss at level 60 or so on Universe. I'm Lv.70 and normal mobs are fucking me up.
This is truly, an amazingly wonderful game with an incredible storyline and lovable characters.

Starocean is so lame. I played this steaming pile of shit for 5 minutes and determined that the only good thing about it was that the box and manual were excellent kindling for my fireplace. Play battlefield 3 if you want a real journey for hope, just bring a clean pair of underwear.
@Ryanunderoath this game freeses a lot, to the point that it becomes unplayable, then I found that it is because I am using a PS3 60 gb model, Some people have the same freesing proble, in their 360.
The PS3 version isn't better per say, but it does give fans some extra "goodies". Japanese voiceovers. Character displays can be anime-ish or cgi-ish. There are extra chests to look for in the PS3 version. In my opinion the voice overs made waiting for the PS3 version worth it.
I enjoy playing this game :) My fve char would probably have to be Faize since I like his Rapier style fighting :o His Blindside is really cool too ^^!
@mrpranny well to be honest the extras only really make it "better" for hardcore jrpg fans coz it has japenese voiceovers. when i say its better on ps3 i say that coz it seems to run very slightly better and its one disc, but in answer to your question there are no real extras included

If that's not what they wanted to do that's their problem. The point is that if it's multiplatform, it is more accessible for customers and lets more people be able to purchase and play the game instead of having to run and buy the other system.

lol wtf are you talking about? Its on bluray, its supposed to be better on that version, you're talking shit. Bluray can have data up to 50GB whereas dvd is limited to 9GB, so if something will be low res, it would be the dvd version aka 360 version.

@UmbrellaCorpTeam - i actually thought that the PS3s graphics wer quite jagged around the edges and objects that wer far away looked terrible. a nice distance fog would have been a good idea in this game. but anyway, i just traded it on for God of War 3.....more of justified purchase i must say. something to make me happy with my PS3, rather than embarrased
@pug307wayne im prity shore on the 360 there is a distance fog its not over the top (cant see anythink over a range) but its just anuth so u wont notise thigs like that =P
@lukejaco is thay why only the blu-ray disc's have crashed and the normal DVD disc's have not and i have 3 ps3's 2 & xbox360 and 5 frends with ps3's and its the same blu-ray's are more likely to crash but can hold more & normal DVD discs hold less but crash less often or never.

The RROD is still here man. My friend got his the same week he bought the system. the 360 may have Halo but the PS3 has God of War III, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Uncharted 2. Plus, "better exclusives" is completely subjective. The PS3 exclusives are better rated though, that isn't subjective. Look on Metacritic.

Yeah, with multiple language options which include full voices and text, much more content to play, enchanced graphics that also run at a higher resolution and an extra character.
I never played Star Ocean 4 before, but I hope the PS3 version will change some of the things that made the 360 version bad..
@joaovinhal not really because it depence what type of hdtv you have and most of the ps3 exclusive use most of the space on the blu ray disc like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Uncharted 2, In 360 the disc are not enough so they have to make it multiple disc or reduce the graphic of the game.
was a long ass game i have to say so far was the longest game i played and trust me it was not easy and to unlock things as some have already figured out there was a hardcore mode or w/e its called try playing a game with over 50hours of gameplay and not die once when you die in 2-3 hits...lol and the last level there is 70 levels just to get to the final boss and the save points are the 1st,30th and 79th level..
Damn, I friggin love this game and I really want to play it!!!! Too bad I neither own a Box nor a PS3.... but Im not much of fan of consoles anymore and its just not worth affording it for only this game, even though I would do it if I had the spare.
Star Ocean is just awesome and Second Story one of the best RPGS of all time.

lol I accidentaly posted my comment I was typing oh well....... continue, on FF 13 you can only control 1 character while fighting and you need to line up attack bar or magic to attack the enemy

i say xbox is better now taht they fixed the fucking ring of death. xbox has most the good exclusive games ( i.e Halo series) and they mostly have better gameplay. i say xbox and ps3 are like brothers though cuz they both rock. :D

The RROD is still here man. My friend got his the same week he bought the system. the 360 may have Halo but the PS3 has God of War III, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Uncharted 2. Plus, "better exclusives" is completely subjective. The PS3 exclusives are better rated though, that isn't subjective. Look on Metacritic.

Killzone 2 is a pretty damn good game, that's why it has a 91 average...
And Star Ocean 4 is also a PS3 title now, with much more content and with dual audio and subtitles so... yeah..

Yeah, with multiple language options which include full voices and text, much more content to play, enchanced graphics that also run at a higher resolution and an extra character.
I never played Star Ocean 4 before, but I hope the PS3 version will change some of the things that made the 360 version bad..

@joaovinhal not really because it depence what type of hdtv you have and most of the ps3 exclusive use most of the space on the blu ray disc like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Uncharted 2, In 360 the disc are not enough so they have to make it multiple disc or reduce the graphic of the game.

was a long ass game i have to say so far was the longest game i played and trust me it was not easy and to unlock things as some have already figured out there was a hardcore mode or w/e its called try playing a game with over 50hours of gameplay and not die once when you die in 2-3 hits...lol and the last level there is 70 levels just to get to the final boss and the save points are the 1st,30th and 79th level..

Damn, I friggin love this game and I really want to play it!!!! Too bad I neither own a Box nor a PS3.... but Im not much of fan of consoles anymore and its just not worth affording it for only this game, even though I would do it if I had the spare.
Star Ocean is just awesome and Second Story one of the best RPGS of all time.
