Unions are dragging this country down, I work for a non union shop and I make 6 dollars more on the hour and get better benefits plus take our trucks home get all the free services, great insurance dental and vision, and I don't have to pay any dues to some crap union that cannot do anymore for the employees than the government can anymore. So I will never be part of a Union ever again, Also don't sign anything someone from a union gives U because they could use that as a vote for them

We had an office that was without a contract for 5 years. They finally got a contract and all the techs got raises. Their highest paid tech, with them for over 20 years, was still below in pay what the -average- pay for a neighboring non union shop was.

The union handed out leaflets and spoke with techs at the front of the shop stating they got shop so and so 5.00 raises.

True. They got ONE TECH a 5.00 raise.For his level and time he is still making 4.00 less then he would if he wasnt union.

@pyrochief unions dont fight for you, all they want is their money, and when it gets tough they run. trust me I no some people that are in this union and are trying to decertify right now! now comcast technicians are extremely underpaid for what we do. we have it very rough. while these suits are making millions we are struggling to make ends meet. realistically i should be making 3 or 4 more a hr. we get screwed every single day. AT&T uverse techs make more and are more retarded
