The old Vantage has a 4.3 283KW (380HP) V8 with an optional aftermarket tune that came later to around about 400bhp that Aston would do if you paid. Then they changed the displacement to 4.7 & 313 kW (426 HP) which is whats in the current one

The engine is a jaguar 4.2 V8 that aston have fiddled with.
