Advance apologies if this is a dumb question, but this is clearly a carnatic composition by Papanasam Siva; why is the tabla used for percussion here? Shouldn't it be the mrithangam? Any clues?
excellent music to musical hears,Musician sings with her wonder kid disiple.Iam one of the fortunatepersons to hear the solo music of this kid.She has to be encouraged in International level.wishing the guru and sishya for future success. Penathur.k.k
The meaning is so beautiful. Yasoda is so blessed to have Lord Krishna as her son who will call her Amma. She is so fortunate to sing lallaby and feed him. She is so blessed to have the lord plead to her hugging her legs.
Good rendering of Karnataka Music composition by Sri Paapanasam Sivan. It reminds of MS's 'Jagadodaarana' by Karnataka Sangeeta Pitamaha Sri Purandara Daasa. Wish they had used harmonium instead of keyboard since it would have been more pleasant particularly for Kaapi raaga.
The dumb camera man doesnt focus on th elittle gal at all.
