Uh, excuse me -- FYI, since 1986, NBC has been owned by GENERAL ELECTRIC, a major U.S. defense contractor. How in heaven's name are they "controlled by the liberals"? Have you chosen to surrender your critical thinking skills and allow yourself to be permanently reprogrammed like a robot by the MOMs (Muppets Of Murdoch) at Faux Spews Channel?
That is TOO COOL!! An HD version of the old school snake! You know what, you ought to do the '62 "Laramie Peacock", and the '80 "Proud N" to see how it turns out!
Could've used a few scratches, but that's just me I guess. Thank you for posting. My favorite NBC memory is on Sunday nights we'd watch BANANZA (That's a Western, Kids...), and the Ponderosa map would be branded and catch fire to reveal the sponsor...Cheverolett!
Yes, that's exactly how virtually all of NBC's prime-time series ended between 1965 and '70 (and used occasionally until 1975). A variation was a second disclaimer, "Presented by the NBC-TV Network" [that meant they produced the preceeding show "in house"].
sounds like "I hear you."

Wow man-that would have been great for NBC's shows for the 2009-2010 season!

'Tis a beautiful renditon--just the way I remember it as a toddler, sitting in front of the '68 Zenith color tv....

The sound is only a cue track. If they'd bought it, we would've re-recorded it.

I'd figure the 60's one would be harder to do than the '56 version because of the swerling colors.

That's the one UPA made. It wouldn't be too hard to replicate, although I had my eye on the 60s version. ;)

Wow, that's high praise indeed. I appreciate your taking the time to say so.
