  • Is this the guy who played Kareem Said on Oz?? He doesn't even sound like the guy... And Kareem was my favorite character on the whole show. Terrific actor, no doubt.

  • Eamonn Walker really did good on "Once in the Life" but then again..I bet most of you haven't seen it, so you don't know what I'm talking about sadly...Quality actor nevertheless!

  • Didnt realise Walker was british.. so much more respect for what he did on Cadilac Records now.. that voice was on point..

  • well ladies tht r in love wit mr eamon walker .. i got bad news i think he is definatly gay

  • @TheAngeloakers i met him 19yrs ago, while he was doing theatre in england, trust me he likes the ladies.

  • 28 days!! That's a crazy turnaround for a film!

  • I'm loving the british accent. Eamonn and Idris are both so fine.

  • Lol he looks so friendly there, and he usually just plays a really scary black bastard hahaha

  • @singalongsong35 lol I like his accent too but I actually prefer the way he spoke in the movie not just the accent but the overall tone, that was just plain old sexy.

  • @singalongsong35 Well since he played an American character...you know

  • look at him......all prim and proper with his legs crossed on the DL and shit! LOL!

  • Oh my !! Eamonn you are gorgeous !! One of the best things ever is a beautiful Black man with a British accent. Between Eamonn and Idris Elba, I would just lose my mind ♥ XD

  • @MJRookieRook I dont know who I love more Eamonn or Idris....LOL

  • @mylokaf I don't either, good Lord!! It couldn't have been me interviewing him, because I would've been sitting on his lap lol I'm just saying. Black men are some of the most BEEEEAAAUUTTIFULLLL creatures :D ♥

  • I HONESTLY RESPECT Y'ALL AFRICAN AMERICA.. FROM AFRICA.. WHAT YOU..DOING IN US.. STANDUP COMEDY AND ALL THAT.. AM CALLED HENRY BITATURE.. EAST AFRICA THATS WERE YOU FIND ME.. COMEDY IS MY FUN..

  • Nice to See Britain Israelites, Playing American JUDAH, SINGERS.

The Israelites are coming together again. B UT ALL KNOW THAT JUDAH, MEN AND WOMEN, CAN NEVER BE REPLACED. Because Yeshua was born from them. So Black American Haters, take it under the Sun.

  • @tigerpaws561xo ....LOL

  • ommggg he is so sexy got me over here howling lol

  • howlin wolf

  • Huseni Mershah!

  • His voice does not go with his body!

  • LOL, howlin wolf's voice is soft and english.

  • I wonder does it put strain on his vocal chords to switch his voice to an American voice when he does his roles.

  • Eamonn is British!? WTF!?

  • Eamonn,Eamonn,Eamonn! his eyes and his smile and his voice! just fine!

  • i think eamonn is underrated..not fair!!

  • Wow Eamonn was amazing in Oz, I had no clue he was english very cool!

  • @niaZomba Have you seen eamonn in the FX show lights out? His voice is so gravely and angry I had no idea he had a british accent

  • OZ FTW

  • Kareem Said.

  • @Helghast Kareem Said lives! :D

  • @Helghast i thinkkareem said was his best act ever!

  • wtf i thought this nigga was from america...i was like wtf when i hears his british accent. kinda like that dude from house

  • @DodgerBlu92 Fuck you and the horse your ass rode in on-----stupid bastard! You must just look for opportunities to use the N word! How useless and ignorant!

  • @microhippo86

if you get offended by someone saying this nigga... then just fucking go off the internet you stupid little shit. God i hate your type

  • @Btoastz Your ignorance knows no bounds! You are the most ridiculously stupid bitch on the planet. If I used that word, I would probably reserve it for you and your "type". You fool, "go off the internet", really? And the sad thing is that's probably exactly what you meant to say!

  • @microhippo86 you can suck this nigga dick , wtf you mad at me for all i said was i thought the dude was from america damn

  • @DodgerBlu92 assuming i could find it it, tiny tim. I don't know why I'm wasting my time with your stupid ass but here goes. My point was, your use of the N word added nothing to the sentiment you expressed. It's just a senseless use of a word that is extremely offensive to most black people with average intelligence. But based on your previous and most recent comments, you just wouldn't be included in that group, would you baby? God bless

  • @microhippo86 ok i understand where u comin from now....

  • Eamonn Walker is a terrifically amazing actor. He really going into great detail when he plays a part. Like he studies the beliefs/thoughts/ideas/personality traits/culture/etc of whatever character he plays and truly becomes "it". Some actors bring their attributes, personal thoughts or personal signatures (umm a personal signature is like turning your eye a specific way or scratching your nose a certain way -- you know, what specific ppl do) into a character. not him, he becomes the character!

  • "thank you, . . . but I prefer it my way" - andre

  • damn him "eamonn" and edris alba are both from the uk???fuck they're taking us usa black guys sex appeal!!!

  • @youngghostmack10 ..so is Chiwetel Ejiofor and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje...

  • ooowooooo smokestack lightning. damn he's sexy

  • I love Eamonn Walker. He is such a good actor, and he is a very good looking man.

  • totaly differnt voice then what he did for Wolf.

  • Man is saaaaaaang that "Smokestack Lightin"! Eamonn is such an amazing talent that is still pretty hidden here in the U.S. I hope he continues to make quality work.

  • is he the one who sings smokestack lightning

  • Legendary blues giant Howlin' Wolf (my good friend, mentor, music teacher) was uniquely gifted & inspiring. I'm glad his inner strength & wisdom was acknowledged in this historically-flawed movie. Eamonn Walker did great, with only 20 lines. Sang well too, but not the real deal. For that, dig Wolf on YouTube. Wolf & I made 2 songs, fresh, different, just us. I hope to get them out this year) Of course, the ICONIC PHOTOS you see of him are ones we made in 1968 & 1969. Contact me to discuss Wolf

  • @howlingsandy did wolf really threaten to kill muddy for stealing his guitarist?or was that just for the movie?

  • @choppa1710 The movie was full of inaccuracies, but great to focus on the era & genre roots. MANY things NOT mentioned or off-base. If Wolf said that maybe there'd be no Muddy long ago or if said, was a comment not an intention, Wolf knew what he was doing and didn't lose it .When he went to get Hubert back, on being called, Muddy was terrified. Yet Wolf kept Muddy going when Muddy went broke! See "history of Chess" w/discographies.

  • The played the part but howling wolfs attitude took a little warmiong up too but in that scene after walter died i really understood the attitude. he wasn't going to be any ones boy!

  • HE made WOLF'S VOICE?!?! WTF?! That's awesome!

  • See thats the thing about Eamonn Walker and Idris Elba, In movies they have those baritone, sexy voices and in Eamonn's movies he always has that aire of mystery type swag as well as a deep voice....in movies. But in interviews.....that London accent comes outta them. Its cute but its not as becoming as those baritones...woooo-hoooo

  • Eamonn is fine, LOL. Cedric the E..., I followed him all over Baltimore when he was here.

  • is there a EAMONN WALKER fan club? anybody?

  • please EAMONN please..........fill in the blank

  • Eamonn can talk to me all night long!

  • @deefirst My eyes are wide open like WTF,after watcvhing cadillac records and see him as Wolf and then hearing him talk..Im like woooow..I didnt know

  • IF THEY SHOULD ever consider a first black James Bond I think Eamonn walker would be the ideal man for the role.

  • @productions271 HELL FUCKIN YES!

  • @fairygmother1 LOL; funny and cool response :)

  • @fairygmother1 boi i love the way he talk................love him so much

  • @productions271 I 2nd that emotion.

  • That's his voice :O !! Don't get me wrong I love the fact that he's a British actor, but I have to admit I have to agree with breakdancebrooklyn @scampoli25 that his growly deep vioce did it for me :P

  • did he sing smokestack lightenin in the movie? or was it a recording of wolf?

  • eamonn walker is a well excellent actor, he is on top form as Othello, teach in in university. Its a pity he gets over looked for roles, a million times better than fucking Will smith.

  • How could saheed be brittish man that messed up but I think he is a much better actor than he gets credit for. He is and sounds much different than the characters he portrays. He was Howlin wolf

  • ha...i just found out eamonn's british. that's fucking shocking and kinda weird. soon almost half of black actors will be brits.

  • you act like there are no Black English individuals in the world. How was a shock?

  • @3194shi i know there are black brits in the world but I didn't think this guy was one of them.

  • I looooove Eamonn Walker. So fiiine.

  • I think Howlin wolf as a character was great because he was very honorable and smart not to get too caught up in all the glitz. I don't know if that is really true but it was great in the movie.

  • It was true. He didn't have tolerance for BS and nobody considered BSing him.

  • Thanks, it is good to know. I am impressed even more to know he was really like that.

  • I think the Howlin' Wolf was the funniest part of the movie....I wished he had more scenes

  • They played there respective rolls great, Howlin Wolf was larger than life and truly a great musician, and Willie Dixon was a great simple song writer. No doubt they would have been proud!

  • Nice.

  • I love how common he sounds haha

  • ya know i love british accents but hearin this guy shpeak in this high pictched english accent after speakin in that rough bad ass voice in the movie, it kinda ruins it for me

  • @scampoli25 lol i agree-i love british accents BUT his voice is high and too proper (can't lie-i like the brits who don't say their "t's" like a lot of the young british musicians). eamonn was sooo much sexier with that deep, growly voice. omg i love him in that film. idris elba has a better voice

  • @breakdancebrooklyn - I agree. Deep, grovelly is indicative of testoterone aka man aka sexy male. Yummy!

  • Well I can see I'm not the only one who didn't know he was British!

He is sexy!! I'm not an Oz fan so I don't know much at that. But in Cadallic Records he was great!!

  • I thought so too ;-)

  • OMG! His accent is soooooooooooo sexy. I never knew he wasnt American. So what ......that just enhances his sexy! Grrrrrrrrr

  • Damn.....I thought Eamonn was from Detroit!

  • LOL!!!!!

  • two hot talented guys , need more of Eamon

  • EAMONN WALKER is quite a clean cut guy, compared to the charcters he normally plays, a good actor no doubt !

I didn't know he was British either !

  • yeah i lot of these black actors are british ..

  • Eamonn's so sexy :)

  • Yes he is...and a fantastic actor. I always wonder how he and Idris Alba accents. That takes talent.

  • saaaaaaiiiiieeddddd!!!!

  • OZ RULES man ! :D

  • i miss that show.

  • he use too make me mad in hbo's OZ always want to be the peace maker .

  • thats y i loved him, but when he died it shattered me!!!

  • eamon is an amazing actor! check him out in Lord of War - he plays a Liberian president...

  • thank you- but I prefer it my way

  • Check him out in the HBO show oz. He plays Kareem Said. Great stuff.

  • I had never heard or seen Eamonn Walker before 'Cadillac Records'. WHERE HAVE I BEEN???? He COMMANDED the screen in the role of Howlin' Wolf. His eyes, his walk, his mannerisms, his VOICE. My goodness!!! I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. He's a gem!

  • @sarah07091978 Check out 'Oz' a prison that aired on HBO from 97-03. He played a Muslim named Said. He was great.

  • Eamonn Walker is an amazing actor. I was surprised to see that Howlin Wolf was the same actor who played the Ethiopian neighbor in that Bill Murray movie. He had caught my eye then and caught my eye now (with Cadillac records) Such a great actor -didn't even know it was the same person!

Cedric we've all loved and known for a while now -he did a nice low key version of Willie Dixon-being so famous-that's hard to do but he did it.

  • wooow...i did not know he had an accent! lol. it;s nice but...i mean with his character i was expecting a deep manly voice lol

  • Eamonn Walker is an awesome, terrifying Wolf. He sang his own songs. He's played Othello in the London Globe. What can't he do? And it's kind of a scandal that Cedric had never heard of Willie Dixon... But an interesting clip.

  • It's not a scandal, he was honest about it. Get over it.

  • Eamonn is FINE! And I love his voice.

  • @nbryson1975 oh yes. He played the part of Howlin' Wolf. Some call it "country," but it was all "swag." I did not know he was British. He appeared to have a serious feel for the music.

  • he's a better actor than i thought wen i watched cadillac records. he doesn't even have a deep voice and he has an accent

  • Eamonn Walker is british if I recall...

  • Yep back in the 80's he played a character in a show called The Bill, which is still going.

  • Eamonn Walker is a hell of an actor to go from what he is, to what he played in the movie.

  • i know!

  • SAID!!! Fuck the aryans!!

  • That was funny how Eammon looked at Cedric at 1:30 like yea Cedric what kinda watch was it?

  • HE SHOULD HAVE DONE THE VOICE!!!!

  • He was perfect in the movie very original IMO

  • i loved his character from caddy records i fell in love with the manly man he played.

  • He is fine...but his real voice isn't deep enough...But he is fine

  • omg....i want to jump eamonn walker's bones.....god i love black men with british voices.....i'm in love!

  • his long head ugly self

  • I loved the movie and the acting was as honest as the writer and that is the problem. With the exception of Chuck Berry and Etta James everyone else is dead. The real story of Rock and Roll will never be told with honest writing because the writers don't talk to the actual source. So you have to get the story else where. Chess records did not start Rock and Roll it only recorded a few of the orginators when no other white company would. Listen to Fats Domino's recordings from 1949

  • This movie was more than I ever expected; having grown up around the mississippi delta I know what the blues is, not an expert mind you, but i know....I did not know until just now that the guy that played Howlin' Wolf is British; HE blew me away; all i can say is THAT MAN, THAT MAN

  • He is Good! I would never have thought he was british!

  • eammon walker is incredible- the cute british accent totally transforms into an unrecogniseable husky, sexy, american voice that totally makes the character of howlin wolf!

  • wtf hes british his smokestack lighning was imaculate

  • wolf is god, eamon did kim well

  • excuse my language, eamonn walker played the HELL out of Howlin Wolf! his version of smokstack lightning was immaculate!

  • I didn't know Eamonn Walker was British. He hid his accent very well in the movie.

  • Yes he's English as I am! He used to be in "Oz" a few years ago.

  • The guy who played howlin wolf seems so different great actin

  • He looks just like a young wolf.

  • wow i diddnt no eammon talks like dat

  • HE'S BRITISH!!!

he hides it so well in the movie

  • That's because he's a good actor, just like Idris Elba (The wire). They do make us brothas in the uk very proud.

  • dude british...wtf lol

  • he has an accent! damn, had no idea, just like House. lol

  • OMG I had no idea Eamon had an accent, he hides it well in all of his acting. Thanks for posting this:)

  • HE'S BRITISH?!

  • Is that realy the same guy who played howlin' wolf??? he sounds so different in comparison. he did really good though

  • Yeah they were rough but this is still modern day entertainment business. People don't want to see them too rough. I thought he was creepy and that worked for him. The british thing, Lmbo!!!!

  • wow hes british lol, cedy gettin biiigggg

  • young wolf was not so round

  • lol I can't believe he's british! He was SO good as Howlin Wolf

  • right you are :p
