@ArticMuse actually its called platform sharing if the exora platform are used to make a sedan just like toyota innova mpv use the same platform as hilux, the ford taurus sedan and a Taurus X suv use d3 platform for example

@lsa81 this is an old car based on the Wira/1991 Lancer. that time, there are no standards like this. newer Protons uses their own platform and has Crumple Zone technology, and most of them got 4 stars rating which is tough and safe.

only buys Mitsu engines? ever heard the Proton CPS engine? the super reliable engine that kicked MIVEC's and VTEC's ass in MME race every year? do you know how much better that engine compared to japanese ones?

Proton Arena/Jumbuck front structure is still the same as the Lancer

new Mitsubishis and new Proton models are much, much safer than this.
