I don't know the ratings, but it was a saturday morning show in Japan and mainly aimed at children, which explains the differences from the games. I doubt it was that popular.

If Parappa 3 ever gets made, do you think they will bring back the anime series, or at least in some point in the future do you think anyone will ever make an English dub of the 30 episodes that did exist. I mean it just sucks so hard that this got canceled after such a short run. There has been so many shows that have sucked so hard but had longer runs than that. Its just unfair and gay as hell and I really think this show would have potential if it were to come back. Nostalgia is very powerful

OK, what's the first problem with this anime, based on a video game like many others? Well, Rodney Allen Greenblat didn't want to be involved. Saw that it was a ploy to sell merchendise...to kids.

Why would you sell THIS to kids? This [universe] is too cool for kids to handle. They should have just stuck to making this show entertaining in and of itself, and aimed at teens/young adults.
