You are the dumb one. Hoax or not, if you have a flag being jammed into the ground, with metal rods holding said flaga roudn the edges, it will still be affected by gravity and move around. There may be no air, but other laws of physics still apply.

It can not be a star as "stars can't be seen because of exposure", they are too low lit and the surface is too light so they can not be seen even in photos, then WTF is that bright dot that is stationery ?

I've checked the RA and Dec settings for July 1969 and there's a good possibility it's Jupiter but I don't know the time of this video or what direction the camera is pointing which would prove it. Jupiter would possibly be bright enough at -2.9 to be picked up by the camera depending on the exposure settings. Again, that's my research on it so far but we'd need to know more about the camera.

No, they first had to take a contingency sample and do a few other things that were a higher priority in case anything went wrong. The contingency sample was a sample of the moons surface. This was done by Armstrong before Aldrin even came out of the lander. Armstrong was outside for a few minutes before Aldrin joined him on the moon.

@kurden1boy1berdan "where are the Stars?" The cameras they were using have an "iris" that is used to reduce the amount of light reaching the film. This is necessary in order to give the correct exposure for the picture. Since they're standing in sunlight that is unfiltered by the lack of atmosphere on the moon, everything is very bright. The camera exposure is so brief that the stars don't have the time to show up on the film. By the way, any 1st year photography student can confirm this.

If you took a 10 foot length of toilet paper on the moon and picked up one end an swung it to the side, it would not act as a straight rod, swinging in a perfectly straight sheet of toilet paper. There would still be a lag in the movement of the tail end, because gravity, even low gravity, tugs on it. Cloth can still be affected by gravity.Silly explanation, but you get my pnt

Actually it's over 200 degrees in the sunlight and... I forget, I believe something like 200 degrees below zero in the shade, which means that their suits were both hot and cold at the same time. The heat and the cold don't penetrate the suit. The cooling system is there to keep the man cool inside a large heavy sweat suit.

I've checked the RA and Dec settings for July 1969 and there's a good possibility it's Jupiter but I don't know the time of this video or what direction the camera is pointing which would prove it. Jupiter would possibly be bright enough at -2.9 to be picked up by the camera depending on the exposure settings. Again, that's my research on it so far but we'd need to know more about the camera.

first, they had trouble extending the pole's to make a 90 degree angle. secondly, the material was nylon (nasa thought that would be more durable in space) so it wouldn't flatten out. lastly, because of the lack of atmosphere, any movement would not be impeded--hence, the flapping effect.

exactly.....physics still applies outside of earth. there is still gravity which is the acceleration in the equation (p=ma) which would easily cause this "waving" effect
