Chryste Panie, alkohol naprawdę niszczy szare komórki. Valo oszalał! Ja też nie jestem oddaną fanką, przez wiele lat myślałam, ze ten zespół już nie istnieje. Mając w pamięci cięższe albumy HIM, kupiłam 'Screamworks' w ciemno, nie znając ani jednej piosenki z tegoż i dostałam palpitacji serca podczas pierwszego odsłuchu. A teraz remix by Tiesto...Posłużę sie kolokwailizmem- MASAKRA!

@SylkieOndine dokładnie, człowiek czuje się najpierw zły, a potem... rozczarowany, przynajmniej ja, bo kocham muzykę, i w tym ogromie twórczości znalazłam coś co CZUJĘ, coś co porusza mi coś tam w środku, a teraz... ja wiem że to nigdy nie było jakieś specjalnie.. ja wiem... nie było kulturą wysokich lotów, ale to przecież nie o to chodzi w muzyce, dla mnie przynajmniej. ale teraz... pozostaje powiedzieć "ja pierdolę" i odgrzebywać nagrania z minionych lat

@babzville303 actually there is, by making a video it promotes and advertises the band/album/single thus creating more fans and generating more money

and i'm pretty sure no-one would tour if they lost money

again by touring they promote the band so money is never lost, think how much ticket prices are

and whilst some people may illegally download their music, I (along with other true fans) buy their music

@Rain207..I don't mean to argue, but all of Ville's interviews the last few years have mentioned the lack of money from the record company to do videos, why do you think they have so few? In interviews promoting Screamworks, he said he's grateful if he makes $150 a show, rather than owing the record company $500. The ticket price you mention, it goes to ticket-seller and venue, little to the artist. HIM needs transportation, electrician, roadies, techs, food, gas for tour bus, etc. ,expensive.

I think the entire album as a whole entity is what makes this song truly amazing. This song is almost an introduction leading into Bleed Well. Each separate song is very good, but when you sit down and listen to the whole album together, it just melds together seamlessly.

that uneven rythem is called a shift. that shift is there becuase the music is supposed to affect the mind, and put the notes in either euphonious or cuacophonous context to understand the song better, like the human brain- we dont feel one emotion at a time , its usually c number of feelings, so the make the music to have several rhythms to mimick the emotions.. and as far as lateralus goes.. its just amazing

And thats one of the things that most TooL fans like about TooL; that they can listen to them whenever they have something thats bothering them and feel better becuase they have to think about the song and that distract them from thier current problem. for example, what do you think the Pot is about?

Can't hold a pitch? You should look into their music and you will see what you may find as somewhat random pitch changes, is definitely purposeful. Pink Floyd was the same way. it requires you to sit down, listen and think through the whole song. This type of music doesn't catch on because most people are just looking for a catchy beat. Thats why most popular music is complete shit as far as lyrics and meaning. The sound is also predictable.

I agree HIM is a good band, but i think its sort of ignorant to write off two of the most influential bands of all time as horrible. And yes i do listen to Elvis, he is one of my influences on why i sing in the first place. I have to say some of the most influential rock bands were The Ramones, The Misfits, and 45 Grave. But you see, that is my opionion.

Whether you find them influential or not is irrelevant, Pink Floyd HAVE been incredibly influential. Almost every rock band that came after them has cited them as an influence.
