wonderful information despite the excessive soda-pop mouth pops...the dry mouth smacking...too many speakers do it. any way..........great info thnk yo
AWW MAAN This is exactly the subject I would like to watch a program on except he speaker smacks his lips and has a poor presentation style.I am unsure if I can watch this video.
i mean this is called solution ,to the reality ,its effective for all who are awaken,at on point in time ,we need to get real action of the solution ,wich is surviving what we all know is coming ,PREPARE AND GET REAL
yeah, except not everybody is lost or wants to be found, i'd like to see some videos that are like this but also have hiding and escape techniques and how to evoide detection
I must have watch this video over 6 times and i am an active SAR profesional... i am rating it 9 out of 10 ..watch it there is something there for everyone..
S.O.S. stands for Save Our Soul. It is used to signal for help since 1912. Before that the CQD initials (Come Quick Danger) was used. The first S.O.S. was sent out by the Titanic.
If you stumbled across this video searching about survival, hit pause, and do a YouTube search for "Ray Mears", and watch his survival videos, and learn some true survival. This guy means well, and had a few good things, but your hour can be spent better somewhere else. Chances are you won't be carrying a survival kit when you need, so you'd better learn to survive without it is my advice. Now go do your homework based on that!
I always heard that when you get lost the best thing to do is stay put and move only if you have too. This guy and the TV shows never pratice this concept. WHY? Well I know why the TV shows don't it would make for boring TV.
im right handed and left eyed, i just hold the rifle left handed but some semi automatic weapons have to be left handed due to the spent cartridge ejection
for the debate about wool, vs cotton, vs synthetics.
the "Best" is as usuall a changing thing
Use what you got, and KNOW the material, and how it works.
Wool is great, but its almost too good of an insulator, and doesn't breath as much, not recommended when your sweating, or it is wet/humid, best for scarves, not so good for sweaters
Great advice on marking a trail the best way I see to do it is to buy a $.99 plastic poncho bass pro shop it will help provide some shelter keep you warmer and you can gradually use inch square swatches to tag trees. Made out of the color you want too lime green. You can collect water with it too. Probably use it to start fire it's plastic. When you tag the terrain maybe write SOS and the date. SOS 2-16-08
those condoms can save your life you can make fire with them or keep things dry with them ,,,cotton kills but cotton balls and purell hand sanitizer or vasoline are ecellent fire starters ps mark traills with stacked stones 3 for left 2 for right oh and vasoline if your lucky enough to have it will keep your feet and hands dry ...cheers.
this is a great program for anyone i think. I just wish my high school, middle school or elementary school offered at least some type of survival education. It's a lost art and encourage people to practice survival scenarios. peace!
I agree, anywhere in North America you could get lost in a forested area. You start a hike on the Bruce Trail by starting in Niagra Falls and hike for days and end up in Tobemory, (Bruce Trail starts in Niagra Falls, and ends in tobemory).
At first I was thinking, yeah -- another know all, knows nothing.. but I actually started enjoying the video. Yeah, I am just too used to people trying to make out they're something they're not. This guy knows what he's saying, plus I had a few laughs.
Good advice on survival, The speaker gets a B+ survival savy, a c- for speaking ability. Epi is vaso-peripheral vaso constrictor. (The opposite of what the speaker stated). It is a Brocodialator. EPI is NOT the only drug that will start the heart; i.e. atropine. Maybe he mispoke. Possibly more training in the area of cardiac life support would be indicated before talking about this in the future. I enjoyed this over all, I am a Wilderness EMT and a Paramedic instructor/cordinator
Good info, well worth my time to watch. NOTE the chlorine is a great way to clean water. i would always carry a small pack (camelbak)so that i could carry more than a pocket full of items, but if i was going to take a small kit his items are great.
The United States Fish & Game put out a warning for black bear and grizzly bear. They said when Hiking you should carry Black pepper mace and also wear little bells on your shoes when hiking. They also said you should learn the differience between Black bear scat and grizzly scat. Black bear scat will have small seeds in it and smell like fruit; Grizzly scat will have small bells in it and smell like black pepper.
You have just made me SMILE, I like it. Manchester, England. I cant' stop laughing. Sorry but if you could see me NOW. A real guffaw. I'm even laughing at reading my comments. Oh sh...ugar.
,In canada when we go hiking we carry black pepper and bells to scare bears ,,, alwise check the bears scat black bears scat smells like berrys and has seeds in it ,,grizzley bear scat smells like pepper and has bells in it
hey seriously these guys wearing camo gear are kinda like anti rescue arent they ,and really its about surviving, listen to what he says about clothing carefully its right and its important .
Evolutionists are so closed minded. They are the new Christians, which is all the more ironically amusing. You two are like a married couple. Go watch Lloyd Pye's Hominoid presentation if you think Evolution can not be disputed.
Great presentation, absolutely hilarious, very informative.
