Well, He's a freshman, and in Japan high school lasts three years. I don't know if they separate class years by which point in a year someone is born, but in the anime Bleach, Ichigo Kurosaki is also a freshman and is fifteen years old. So I assume that Kouta is also fifteen years of age.
