I heard the real reason the Stone Roses split up was because Squire took a big runny shit into Ian Brown's new tuba case. Brown takes it out to practise one night, gives it a blow and gets covered in a big pile of lanky-boy's belly sick.

All that drugs stuff was just for the benefit of the press. The real reason was a brass section shitstorm.
