@KnowOne71 probably at the end of Airwolf's original run. He was very difficult to deal with that season. He was probably making 200 grand an episode, which was the highest at that time, for a tv show. He did seek out help, but I guess he relapsed at least once. And producers could not keep him on the show. Which is a shame.

I was too young to understand the story when I was only 6 or 7 when I saw this episode. Does anyone remember the storyline here? Were the Soviets trying to steal Airwolf?

Some group of operatives kidnap Hawke and brainwash him into believing that he's been in a coma for years and that his brother has been rescued in the meantime. They're trying to convince him that it's time for him to hand back Airwolf to them. They coerce him into handing over Airwolf and are flying it back in their transport plane, when Dom emerges from having hidden inside it, and helps them escape.
