@Nagneto It sure would be nice, especially with the ability to share your games with other people online, which was impossible when this version came out. Plus they could release it as a downloadable game if they don't want to make a full-priced retail release.
Unfortunately I don't think they have anything planned for the console market, but who knows.

@Meuhcoin Okay.... I'm good now. I've done a lot of exploring on my own. I'm somewhat good with maps... battles... items... events... storytelling... all that. All I need now is how set a starting point. I'll make a map and everything in it. Then I'll save and press play. Thennnnnn.... it says it can't play yet. I think it's because I never set the starting point for my character. How would I possibly go about doing so?

it sells Max Drives which you can use to transfer PS2 save data to your PC, I've ordered one recently and I'm waiting for it to come. Just be sure to backup your save data first. I think there's some tutorials online for using it as well. Reason I say that is because I've heard the device can be kind of unreliable at times.
how do you make a boss battle happen right after a scene? and how do u make it so after u leave 1 town u go to a big place and can enter another? and how do u put the town next to each other on the world map? and can u make it so theres like 10 people and they are part of the story but u can switch them out like if i had people names Rot, Nor, Bum, Hip and Rep and i could only take 4 at a time but i wanted rep sometimes and nor sometimes i could switch them and there levels would stay the same

@mosheahron NPCs are non-player characters, so any character that isn't in the player's party is a NPC. Watch the tutorial I made if you don't know how to create them. Use the Layout menu to put stuff at places (any stuff at any place, the Layout menu is there for that).
Basically, you should really watch the tutorials I made, it will answer most of your questions. If you have more questions after watching them, I'll be happy to answer (but please put more effort into writing them).
@xLURCKx I don't think you can change a character's class during the game. However, you could make multiple characters with a different class for each one, and then allow the player to choose a character at the start of the game.
how do you put someone in your party as a teammate, and then as you progress threw the game, how do you take them out of the party and then use them as the enemy for a boss battle?
I got Rpg Maker 3 at Gamestop once, so i was lucky, but I moved on to RPG Maker 2. The old days when i sucked at RPG Maker. Now I can edit small parts of RPG Maker 2 Scripts.
What it all comes down to is: If you like the Dragon Quest series, and want to make ones like that with ease, than RPG Maker 3 is perfect. But if you are a Final Fantasy fan and want to make ones like Final Fantasy 7, then you are going to have to learn how to use the PC editions.

Are you using the debug menu ingame? You have to create a group of enemies, and then you can assign that group to an overworld (and maybe to dungeons) so they will appear randomly. If memory serves me right, that is.

Is your town already created? Go to the Event Placement for the Overworld you created, and you should be able to place your town by pressing the X button and choosing it in the menu.
Again, you have to create your character and your weapon. Then on the character edit screen you can equip the character with the weapon. Be careful when creating your weapon, as each class can only set one type of weapon.

@mosheahron That's too many questions for me to answer in a comment, so I'll be brief.
1- Create an event against an NPC
2- Are you talking about the overworld?
3- Well, you just create the town and put them in the overworld. Nothing complicated there.
4- There's a party system for that, create your characters, assign them classes and use events. Also those are terrible names.

@xLURCKx I don't think you can change a character's class during the game. However, you could make multiple characters with a different class for each one, and then allow the player to choose a character at the start of the game.
