  • I would honestly have this engine in my car if it was a little more powerful, I LOVE the exhaust sound :D

  • Since you like this so much you really should join Snipäventyret on Åland islands. Then you can hear 50 of these at the same time for 5 days in a row....

    see more on snipaventyr.ax!

  • @jerikajoe Hello! Yes maybe that´s a good idea. I have to think about that :)

  • Sounds like the shrimp boats out of Tarpon springs Fl

  • great sound. I love it same as my Harley Fat Boy sound :)

  • @GINmetallist yes :D

  • @GINmetallist Harleys shed nuts and bolts, not so good. These engines however are of superior European design, last forever. Same reason really all American engines are crappy compared to most any non-American engine. Except maybe for Briggs & Stratton.

  • Huge flywheel.

  • COOL

  • Very nice, love the sound of a well cared for marine engine!

  • sounds great!!!

  • sounds great out of the exsaust...

  • great little engine

  • sounds gr8

  • Yes! It does..

  • That is beautiful.

  • Thanks..

  • its got a nice healthy sound to it like a old john deer

  • How is the crank configuration? Both piston TDC or 1 piston at TDC another at BDC?

  • Hello! It´s like one piston at TDC and the other at BDC.

    Have a nice day..

  • I have 3 of these - if yours is an 021 then its 10hp or 8 on paraffin (petrolium). The 12hp was the nearly identical 022 which had a different carburettor.

Puzzled why you have a dry exhaust - turn the coolant water into the exhaust sytem and it quietens the rather hard 'chuffy' sound down to a beatiful 'burble' noise! Also keeps the pipework cool and safer in a wooden boat. Mine was reconditioned around 25 years ago and never used - now has about 150 hours on it.

  • Well, I have just turned the wather off for a moment, just to record the enginesound. Normal is with

    water in the exhaustspipe.

  • I think it sounds very nice. do you know which year it was built? and is it 2 stroke?

  • Thanks. I think it´s built around 1950-55.

The engine is 4 stroke, side valves, 12 hp.

    Have a nice day.

  • Its NOT a diesel engine!!

This motor runs on benzine en when its hot jou cn try to let it run on petrolium... this is a sort of diesel...

But i like the sound of this little motor.

  • Well, this engine can run on petrol(benzine) and when it´s hot it can run on kerosene.

But you must change back to petrol before you stop it.

It´s not a sort of dieselengine, a diesel have injectors and this engine have sparkplugs and a carburator= Otto engine.

Maybee it sounds like a diesel in the exhaustpipe. But the engine sounds like a petrolengine. A diesel sounds much harder.

  • why the diesel engine need extra heavy flyweel

  • Low speed and long stroke, 1-2 cyl= heavy flyweel to make it run nice and calm.

    Petrol engine, not diesel.

  • i like the diesel engine on your boat

  • Thanks, the engine is an old 2 cyl Albin O21, 12 hp, petrolengine. Built in Kristinehamn, Sweden.

    Have a nice day.

  • what boat is it in?

  • Hello. It´s in a Gullholmensnipa.

    Se my last video.

  • sounds great

  • Thanks.

  • wonderful sound of the boat sound like a chevy 454 lol 5*

  • Thanks.

  • Tackar!

  • i give you 3*
