That is why he could manipulate and handle his defender in order to take easier shots. Kobe many times he cannot escape from his defender that is why he forces himself to take impossible shots. OK sometimes he succeeds but this is not the issue in basketball. Jordan positioned himself exactly in the where he wanted so he could take the easiest way to score.
