Ive talked to the owners a few weeks ago when I was over there and they don't plan on shutting down any time soon. I think they will be fine, its all a matter of adjusting prices and getting used to bills. The customers are not happy about the higher prices but they really enjoy the products and keep coming back.
Do you know what's happened to them since the interview?

Yea sorry about the bars and tone. I originally edited this at school on the Avid system and I could not bring it home to re-edit later.
If I could take that bit out without I would...but I don't have access to my original editor files anymore.

just import the finished video into a new avid project and cut the beginning off :P

I tried that already but Premire CS3 didn't like the MOV file...it's picky like that...
also that means recoding and such which would take the quality away more.
I will have to try it with Sony Vegas as that program seems more flexible.

you need the latest version of quicktime to import a .mov even if you use a different codec.
