No complains. Astonishing, the quite abrupt change of key makes it even more-so appropriate for crying deeply, or happily huging your best friend. I just doubt he could express so much colour without this excessive usage of vibrato upon the string-bowed leadings.

Hisaishi is my all time favorite composer of instrumental music. All of his music, to varying degrees, has been beautifully written and emotionally astounding for me to listen to. I sincerely hope that he has a long, fruitful life for us to continue listening to his amazing compositions!

this is a beautiful song from the movie Kikujiro no Natsu, if anyone hasn't seen it, I highly recommend it. This song (The Rain) and another soundtrack in the film (Mother) both have the similar tune and depicts the image of the little kid trying to find his mother. Having seen the film, it brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to this piece -__- so beautiful yet so sad

I really love this song, but I find it funny that most of these videos that involve beautiful instrumentals always have pictures of random plants and nature. lol It's like the music makes people think of..nature? Obviously the person who made this video is trying to say the song is "beautiful" by putting up flowers and stuff. But sometimes I just wish there was more variety/creativity in photo choice. Beautiful ending to the song though. Violins are total tearjerker.

Some of Hisaishi's music has some of his other compositions in it. They usually are for movies. This song is from "Kikujiro no Natsu" and Summer is the main theme in "Kikujiro no Natsu"
