Music Score by : Sir George Martin

the best lines in this opening ever

    THE BEATLES FOR EVER

  • "This ever-changing world in which we live in" is redundant.

  • Wow...what beautiful women

  • I wish Pierce Brosnan would come back I thought he was the best

  • I got to see paul play this live at the forum in the 80's and man......IT ROCKED!!

  • favorite bond song in history PERIOD.

  • @thewateverperson I agree this song is perfect.

  • favorite bond song in history.

  • i don't think this song suits 007 movie.

  • @BlandBoy

id have to disagree. this song has every characteristic that Bonds songs had. its titled after the name of the movie, it continues the strong brass features of other songs, and features heavy and sweet sides.

the features of this song continue what the 60s songs had. most every song after this didnt do that as well.

  • whats that little noise at 1:29?

  • best

    intro

    ever

  • Paul can do no wrong.

  • Tee-Hee: There are two ways to disable an croc, you know.

James Bond: I don't suppose you'd care to share that information with me?

Tee-Hee: One way is to take a pencil and stick it in the pressure area above its eye.

James Bond: And the other way?

Tee-Hee: Oh, the other way is twice as simple. You just stick your hand in its mouth... and pull its teeth out! Heh, heh

  • State Trooper: That look like a boat stuck in the Sheriff's car there, Eddie?

Eddie: Boy, where you been all your life? That there's one of them new car-boats.

Sheriff J.W. Pepper: By the powers invested in me by this parish, I hereby do commandeer this vehicle and all those persons within.

    [spits and looks at Eddie]

Sheriff J.W. Pepper: And that means you, smartass.

  • Sheriff J.W. Pepper: There's that son of a bitch. I got him.

    [to Bond]

Sheriff J.W. Pepper: What are you? Some kinda doomsday machine boy? Well WE got a cage strong enough to hold an animal like you here!

Felix Leiter: Captain, would you enlighten the Sheriff please?

State Trooper: Yessir. J.W., let me have a word with ya. J.W., now this fellow's from London England. He's a Englishman workin' in cooperation with our boys, a sorta... secret agent.

Sheriff J.W. Pepper: Secret AGENT? On WHOSE side?

  • The first Bond I ever saw. Daniel Craig has turned Bond into Jason Bourne

  • McCartney <3

  • What is there that old bonds do and new bonds don't? I think that New bonds are way to serious these days. I mean I'm am only 11, but I grew up watching Goldfinger and Golden eye! These days bonds are just like any other movie. Too much special effects and bad story line. Craig just takes it way to serious. I want the old formula back!!!!!!!!

  • i remember sneaking down the stairs to watch this intro , i believe it was 1976 or 1977. yes it was on the tv . i have been a bond freak ever since . im age 45 now.

  • Best bond film ever!!!

  • The beginning bit used to freak me out as a kid.

    Best bond theme ever!

  • She said She Said by the beatles would be SO GOOD for a james bond opening

  • Love this song. One of my favourite Bond themes...and Danny Craig isn't a bad Bond, he just needs to inject a bit of Roger Moore lightheartedness into proceedings then I reckon all the dissenters would be pacified. Qof S was a po-faced drag of a movie which would have been improved no end with a bit of near the knuckle banter and a quip or two. I hope the producers realise that 007 was never meant to be taken THAT seriously!

  • Daniel Craig just isn't very interesting....he's turned the Bond character into the Terminator.

  • @hadoenough yeah,he uses his licence to kill too much!!!! :P

  • @hadoenough they've turned the bond films into rubbish action films instead of spy films

  • @badoman1 yup. they fucked up the new star trek movie in the same way. nobody has a fucking attention span anymore and the film and music industries capitalize on it.

  • @badoman1

Exactly the new films have no gadgets and no Miss MoneyPenney.

  • @hadoenough What? LOL! Craig is the first Bond that bleeds and has genuine emotions.

  • @ElTuco84 not true, Dalton played Bond very similar and in my opinon better then Craigs.

  • @hadoenough Well he gets really good reviews on his Bond movies...

  • @hadoenough So in other words, Craig's Bond is a blunt instrument wielded by the British government and is otherwise unspectacular. That's exactly the character Ian Fleming created.

  • that guy at da start looked so fake hahaha

  • to casino 16 daniel craig is a shite bond for the movies. read the books bond is a gentleman, granted a homophobic womaniser, but still a gent

  • I'm currently working on Fleming's Live and Let Die. Tell me, what reason do have to declare Mr. Craig's Bond less than a gentleman?

  • great song and film

  • I like them except Craig

  • daniel craig isa god among men u shut ur mouth

  • I'm a man have watched each film at least 50 times and saw the first in the theater was this fil LALD.

  • that doesnt excuse u for saying daniel craig isa bad bond

  • Decent video, cool song, but it was one of the worst Bond films. Hardly any real plot, wobbly characterizations, so-so acting, and the stupidest death scene of any villain. The blaxploitation content makes it severely dated. I don't understand why some folks love it but oh well, no accounting for taste. To me, there's just so little to like about this movie.

  • the music ,the fact that it shows bond of the era and a cool speedboat chase. Its just raw movement from scene to scene without excess and proved bond could be taken to a new decade.that y people love it

  • if u want to watch a bond movie thats just raw energy id def recommend this 1.i think this is the feeling quantum tried to emulate but it didnt quite work out (too many un bond extras)

  • sad but so true

  • Yeah, and I still love this music but It didn't fit 00.

  • of course it fits 00 . what on earth are you on? you only have to hear the instrumentals when Bond is tied up with solitaire to realise its great Bond music. Its a superb theme and one of the best Bond songs ever

  • I think this can fit Bond- but not MOORE's Bond; he was more light and sort of a tongue-in-cheek kind of guy, and a "playful" ladies' man... "Nobody Does It Better" suits the Moore Bond better.

This sounds more like Craig, or Dalton... maybe even Brosnan, though I don't think it fits his Bond too well either.

    Good song anywho, though.

  • lol it almost look like a KKK propaganda video

  • 007-meets-blaxploitation...cool Bond flick.

    Macca is great, as usual...

  • at the beginning you can see the guy in the goat look to the right for the sign of the director to put the rubber snake toy to the guy.

  • the best bond movie

  • Creepy eye! O.O

  • one of the best Bond movies ever!

Roger Moore and Sean connery Bond movies are the best

  • you are right

  • good music, kind of an odd intro

  • must have been odd at the time a fast paced (at bits)bond theme

  • Those eyes are scare me :(

  • Best Bond theme bar none.

  • 70's music made a mistake don't have a heart attack

  • 80's music reminds me of the old days

  • 80s music?

  • ...this isn't 80's...

  • this is 70s music.....

  • This intro is one of the best of all bond fils! The film itself is also good, except for the part when Mr. Big eats a air a capsule and inflates. Who has seen it knows what I'm talking about.

  • Especially the last few seconds of this movie are interesting. Everyone who has seen it knows what I mean.

  • iv seen this film but not for a long time so you'll hav to remind me

  • At the end Bond and his newest girl are travelling by train. After Bond kick's out a unwanted guest the camera shows the front of the locomotive. There sits Baron Samedi, god of the death. The way that guy laughs...

It's symbolical. No mather JB will go, the death will follow him.

  • where did ernst go after this one?

  • You mean blofeld.

  • the best bond intro ever

  • Beautiful, fortune-telling Solitaire is the prisoner of Mr. Big — master of fear and artist in crime. James Bond has no time for superstition — he knows that this criminal heavy hitter is a real threat. More than that, after tracking him through the jazz joints of Harlem to the Caribbean, 007 has realized that Big is one of the most dangerous men that he has ever faced. And no-one, not even the mysterious Solitaire, can be sure how their battle of wills is going to end...

  • Love it! This is my FAVORITE 007 movie!!! :D

  • he sung it too

  • lol i did'nt no Sir paul Mcartny sung this song

  • He wrote it!

  • Baron Samedi is super bad.

  • one of my favorite films and songs

  • cool :D i love this film thanks for the add
