That is what they use in the strongman comps, and I guess its just awkward to use so you have to stabilise a whole lot more.

@samlevla I BELIEVE, and don't quote me on this lol, but I think it may have to do with the weight distribution. But again, I could be wrong.
@samlevla You'll notice that this is nothing like a clean and jerk. It more of a crude, "strongman" movement that probably uses a lot more muscles and more power. Also, i might be wrong, but this is a strongman event aswell.
