  • @muffinboy101010 It looks to be more effective than what I had previously on her, which was Hidden Power Dragon.

  • @Overhazard actually, i take that back it's a good move for him to have.

  • @muffinboy101010 Grass is not very effective against Steel. There are plenty of heavy Water- and Ground-types who are knocked out in one hit by the move.

  • Why did infernape lose health after it used Flamethrower?

  • @waterflowing2 That's the effect of the Life Orb.

  • yea i took one look at ur tangrowths moves against yanmega and was like oh dear.... Out of curiosity, do you have a raichu? ^-^ I have a great physical one with volt tackle, dig, endure, and reversal :D

  • grass knot on infernape and aerial ace on ambipom...haha wow crap choice of moves there.

  • @faithfulmonkey Why's that?

  • @Overhazard simple these moves dont get STAB from them and some natural moves they learn cant help against type weaknesses as ive figured out a long time ago.

  • @faithfulmonkey They actually work quite well on these guys. You must not be using those moves properly.

  • @faithfulmonkey Just because a move doesn't have the STAB effect doesn't mean it is ineffective. being able to bring multiple moves to the table to maximize different situations is a better option. Now using the proper stat for the move such as a physical move that uses a proper type for a Pokemon of a high attack stat is what you need to watch out for.

  • @faithfulmonkey you are stupid XD

  • What is th point of baton pass? can you just switch on your own.

  • @quicksilver2055 Baton Pass also passes down stat changes and conditions. For example, if a Pokémon raises its Attack through Swords Dance and uses Baton Pass the next turn, the Pokémon you switch to will now have the Attack boost.

  • @Overhazard Oh i didnt know that, thats actually really good then lol

  • I think that they switched to Rotom because they thought you had a Fake Out Ambipom.

  • Why did you give in:S

  • @greengear5 There was nothing I could have done. There is no way this Tangrowth can win against that Yanmega.

  • Couldn't you just let him have his victory?:P

  • @greengear5 He did get it. He won and I lost. I acknowledged that I couldn't win this one.

  • Well I guess you couldn't do a lot in this battle either huh?...

  • Oh, how annoying. I forgot that Rotom used reflect and got surprised that Yanmega survived Aerial Ace.

  • Hmm... and interesting team. Here's the first Rotom that I see that does not use trick or any variation of some choice item. Here's the first one I see that is a tank/wall.

I've only heard about them before.

  • Nice try, Overhazard. One question: Why didn't you use Substitute instead of Aerial Ace when it was Ambipom vs. Yanmega. Once Reflect went down, then Aerial Ace would have done more damage.

  • You can see that Ambipom didn't have enough HP after the Air Slash to use Substitute. I correctly guessed that Ambipom would survive, but with less than 1/4 of his total HP left.

  • can some1 tell me how to put a video like this to youtube without a video camera... im too noob to figure it out

  • if you refer like you already have the video recorded you just go with upload

but if you don't have the video you can do it with a webcam

and if you refer to another way

I don´t know (wich means I'm also a noob XD)

    I hope this help you

  • I hate Yanmegas. They always Protect and then Hypnosis or sweep with their annoying ability. What makes things worse is that they can take hits like that Aerial Ace...

  • Isn't this soppused to be Nov 28 09 B

  • You did really well Overhazard. Yanmega are pretty tough to stop once they get a speed boost stat increase.

I thought you would have Baton Passed to Tangrowth to resist Rotom, but it looks like this match wasn't meant to be. Your teams are very creative....some of the best I've seen.

  • If I Baton Passed to Tangrowth, my opponent would have switched back to Yanmega, which would've spelled my doom before I could do anything.

  • Reflect fail. :P Yanmega's a Special powerhouse! IT can only really be stopped by Steel Pokemon and High SpD Pokemon. (Or Priority Moves). It really has loads of options available to it. :/

  • Yanmega can also be stopped by putting up defenses before it's too late to stop it. In this case, that would be a Substitute. I was thinking Yanmega would use Protect and then attack Ambipom, but I guessed wrong.

  • Yanmega is capable of using Hidden Power Ground, Fighting and Fire. Reversal too. Steel Pokemon may not be able to stop it either.

  • I've never seen a Yanmega with HP Fire, they usually have 2 moveslots dedicated to Protect and Hypnosis. (Mine has U-Turn instead of Hypnosis)

  • That's tough but at least you tried. That Yanmega was a teeny bit predictable. I wish I'd see more Tinted Lens Yanmegas...the Japanese don't seem to have the Guts to use one...

  • Again! critisizing others when you can do no better!

Your strategies hardly ever work. I see now why your so quick to judge others skills. Shame on you.......prove that you could have done better being in the same situation as Overhazard using the same Pokemon and moveset. Your a complete joke!

  • Yanmega can learn reversal for a fighting move. It's actually not that uncommon.

  • Isn't this a fight "B"?

  • I think he switched to Rotom because he was expecting Fake Out. I guess all Ambipoms are expected to use it at the first oppertunity.

  • Good point. I don't use Fake Out, but I'd suspect the normal reaction with Yanmega would still be the same, which is to use Protect.

  • The only thing i would say for a fighting move that Yanmega can learn is HP Fighting... but your opponent had a bad move switching to Rotom so u could set up the Sub

  • So Yanmega has a speed of 283 plus however much it gains from speed boost making it pretty hard to outspeed nice attempt though and that's what counts

  • Well, at least you AND your opponent didn't know what the other was doing.

     :)

  • Vergil, you are a douchebag of sh*t.

  • No one cares. So shush.

  • Vergil, you are a douchebag, anyone who sayd yay first comment this or horray 2nd comment that will be marked as a douchebag on youtube for the rest of their life.
