What is the capacity? Close to where I live there is a Otis traction elevator in a hospital which is big enough to hold a small car...it has a 200hp motor and can carry up to 10t (20,000lb) at 4.5 ft/s.
Looks to me like Innovation fixtures. It might be an older Montgomery elevator. It's too nice to me a Kone. Dover's don't use barrel keys; neither do Adams. It could be an Otis too. (Those use barrel keys.)
Yeah I was pretty happy to find these elevators with the 3-speed doors. Ikea has about 4+ elevators in the public areas of this store. I didn't have time to search through very much to find them all. Will do that another time when time permits.
Are the buttons often generic to more than one elevator brand? As these buttons seem identical to buttons I havce seen in an Otis Elevator that was modernized by Kone. See the video I uploaded of the Otis Traction elevators at the Clinical Sciences building at the University of Alberta (Edmonton)
Yep, that happens. There are some 3rd party fixtures that other brands use. Epco, GAL, Dewhurst/Dupar are quite common. As for this elevator, I've seen the same fixtures on a brand new ThyssenKrupp (My video, Westin Montreal), so go figure! lol.
Reminds me of the Best Buy elevators I recorded in New Hampshire. Those were Keystones, but with those light-up buttons, I WAS going to say that here, but I don't know.
what are yous elevator enthusiasts or something?

@aa9g1 - It wouldn't be very old as this Ikea store was only built within the last 10 years.

Looks to me like innovation fixtures (Barrel key types & the square buttons). It's probably a Montgomery elevator.

I couldn't hear the motor that well, but these are either Schindler or KONE from what I heard.

I'd think Scindler or Thyssen as I've seen these style buttons in the UK, and I think it's them or an indepdent company but the are good ones.

Might be a Fujitec. Sure is big tho, 3-speed doors are quite rare.
