  • I don't know about you, but if a giant car thief came running at me with full riot gear on, I wouldn't use my taser. I'd use my .357.

  • Ohhh I was just gonna ask you for directions. Not 50,000 volts!!

  • i rember one time this kid wanted to "chill with me at my house" but i realized he was taking my stuff and leaving with all of it casually so i go to shoot him with my airsoft like crazy and it didnt stop him so i tazerd him to death LOL i fucking love tasers

  • haha O shit frank you ok! Scum bags like these always travel in packs, and it is true that if you take down the leader most will run. If you ever get jumped by a pack or there making a B line for you find the leader. I think all women should get these.

  • No it does not arc back to the one holding the taser!

  • A question I've always wondered is if "the assailant" is holding onto the user when he dry stuns with a tazer does it arc back into the user? Meaning if a man had a woman pinned down and she tazzed him would it shock her too? Like when we were kids and all held hands and tapped an electric fence. the shock went though all of us and the last person on the chain really got it.

  • This is insane. What happens if it is the bad guy the one who has the taser ?

  • @iapalategi Tasers must be activated online, and a background check is done.

  • at 1:22 he says the other people will run when some one collapses from the taser. this is my philosophy, they will running ten times faster when they see that there buddy just got a .40 or a 9mm to the face.

  • You can fined then for $200.00 and up if you look

  • Everybody back off i have a taser lol

  • that guy was just going to his car on the left...LOL

  • What if the Mugger is using that suit?

  • To be fair, a taser can be defeated by a lot of clothing, not just that suit he was wearing. If the barbs don't hit flesh it is NOT going to do anything, so it may not be the most reliable weapon for self-defense.

If you can't get a gun and a CCW, though, this taser is probably your best bet.

  • Not true, the new tasers use pulse electricity, and are even effective through a kevlar vest

  • Wasn't aware of that, thanks for the update. Still, I've seen many videos of multiple tasers failing outright. It's not a bad option for less-lethal self-defense, but it's still not reliable enough in my opinion.

Also, the video takes a huge leap in faith by assuming additional attackers will just flee out of fear, I think that's a VERY poor marketing idea, if people put faith in that happening, it could get them injured or killed. A firearm will always be the best option.

  • Yeah, I allways thought Tasers were not very effective, There was a Police Sergeant who was tased and still proceded to attack (Several times). The video is here on YouTube if you want to check it out.

Also AC Spray has the same problem. It isn't affective on everyone. There are numerous videos vdieos here that show people attacking another person holding a pad to show stamina.

However this only shows the ineffectiveness of Pepper Spray

A Firearm is definitely the best option.

  • Ah, yes. I saw a video recently of a drunken fan being tased at a football game, the taser had absolutely NO effect on him, the security officer had to run up and stick the actual unit on him for the shock to occur. Prior to that, the guy just sat in his chair without even noticing it. Not that I'm saying he should have been shot, less-lethal is obviously the first thing a guard or cop should use unless threatened with direct lethal force.

For a citizen, though, they need a gun.

  • they really seem to like being tased :P

  • Great! be ready for alot of LIABILITY by shooting them with a gun then!

  • lol

  • sounds to me like your looking to kill just cuz someone is doing something bad... I carry a .45 but am still thinking about getting a taser for myself and a friend, just so I have the option of none lethal force... also not everyone can live with the idea of killing someone else, so they should carry something that they feel comfortable using.

  • @selfdefenseatl Better to be tried by twelve than carried by six.

  • Tasers are $350.00 and get a free holster with it!

  • @selfdefenseatl 350 dollars...

..for that much I could be going, "Back off. I have a 9MM."

  • @stealthbeast hahahahahaha fuck yeahh!

  • Yes you drop the Taser and run as it delivers a 30 second voltage or we call it a ride. Taser Corporation will replace the taser itself if used in Selfdefense, thats why they want you to run after you shoot them.

  • how much are this tasers?

  • Damn, she can hustle in those heels lol

At any rate, am I to understand that the tactic is to tase the guy, drop it, and run? Leaving the taser where it is?

  • i dont get it......at 1:44 why doesnt she throw her bmw in reverse???? run that bitch over.....hhaha

  • Did you use it on your neck where they demo it for 3 seconds? iI guarantee you you it will drop you!

  • I own one of these tasers and I have tried it upon myself. It WILL NOT incapacitate an attacker in touch mode. I can actually withstand applying it to my body in touch mode, it was only effective when the darts were attached to my body.

If someone was using it against me in touch mode I could fight them off and take it off them easy.

What you see in the above vid is serious misinformation which could cost someone their life.

  • @redtortoise76 in tests that have been conducted after about 10 seconds when they figured out they could take it they reached around and pulled the dart out

  • @redtortoise76 Post a video of the touch mode hitting you.

  • @redtortoise76 im not sure about the c2 but i have a standard stun gun (3.5 million volts, it says on it "3500 Kv") and that is plenty enough to drop you even if you have a jacket, maybe your is defective or you might be right, but it shouldn't matter if you touch the contacts or the pins stick to you, the volts and amps should be the same.

  • i think the intro is fake

  • no't fake you dumb

  • I don't know, but I,m sure it wasn't enough!

  • i wonder how much that poor guy got paid to get tased all afternoon

  • You shoot the person with the 2 probes and drop the Taser and run. The Taser will give the attacker a 30 second ride and leave them powerless for you to get away and call the police.

  • I am very interested in a taser, mostly because I am uncomfortable with loud sounds, so I can't handle the sounds from a gun.

  • The C-2 taser is not near as loud as a gun. It has 0 kickback to it and is very smooth firing. I think you will be quite surprised as to how low the sound is and how smooth it is.

  • She drops or throws down the taser in all cases. You would not eject the cartridge until the 30-second shock-cycle is finished. However, you can push the button again and send another 30 sec of current again and again. If you run away and leave the taser, you get a police report and Taser Corp will send you another taser (for free)

  • didnt know they did that

what if that guy takes the taser, takes out his own cartridge, and uses it against someone else

  • how does she run away with the TASER still in her hand i thought she can't go past fifteen feet or did she eject the cartridge ?? and if you eject the cartridge will it still send the current through the attacker's body

  • I have a few questions, since Iam itrested in purchasing one. Is there a reason why she informs the attacker that she has a taser? If you wish not to flee, and wait for law enforcment would this be adviced, rather than running away since it might become a legal issue later? Also what would could be done once the attacker is down, could you put him under citizen arrest, and call the law enforcment? thanks

  • 1. It is not leagly necessary to tell them, but gives the attacker the option to back off then or keep attacking like they do in the demo. 2. We advise you run and call the police as the TASER will be going for 30 seconds after sending the attacker the current. remember if a TASER is used in attack, get the police report and file it to TASER and they will replace it at NO cost. 3. You could make a citizen arrest, but advised to call the police and let them handle the arrest. Thanks

  • Back the fuck off I have .357 in my purse and Desert Eagle .50 in my car. :)))

  • Hey - I'm glad you are READY to defend yourself! But the Taser is mostly used by a person who doesn't want to carry a handgun. With the C2 Taser, it won't kill anyone!

  • but if they have some heart problems...
