  • Science doesn't prove anything?

  • "I don't think" yes we know you don't think there's no need telling us.

"Science doesn't prove anything" yet these people are watching the products of science like i don't know...

    THEIR ENTIRE HOUSE.

Most of the time they don't even realise how hypocritical they are, seriously, next time those who claim that science proves nothing nor is it useful, should be stripped off of the products of science they own. That will surely teach them.

  • that kid has a rat tail

  • I want to puke.

  • @tyjet66 i want to puke on you

  • "Galileo made the right choice by giving up science for Christ." They wrote that in a fucking book?? Bitch, Galileo didn't have much of a fucking choice -- while the Pope was giving him the grand tour of the torture chamber underneath the church.

  • No need to fight, creationists are being embarrassed all because of their own ridiculous beliefs more and more everyday

  • So she thinks science is doesn't work huh...Somebody go and remove the light bulbs, tvs, the ac and heater, running water and anything else that has come from science out of the house.

  • this woman needs a bullet.

  • "It's only gone up 0.6 degrees" "Hmm, it's not really a big problem is it?"

I'd like to see you go up 0.6 degrees and tell me if it isn't...

  • Is somebody with a chihuahua trying to claim that evolution doesn't occur? Wait, hold on, I've just spotted a pack of poodles outside my window. I'ma go try to pet them. After all, if all current animals were created in their present form, then there should be wild pitbulls and dachshunds running around.

  • And these people control 1/3 the vote. Scary...

  • "Science doesn't work"

    you own a fridge

  • She is a good example to why America is behind the rest of the world.

  • "Evangelist mom on global warming, evolution, creationism"......This will be both hilarious and sadening.

  • That silly bint! She tries to refute global warming by talking about temperatures only in the United States. Global warming will affect the climate and the weather in America as well as everywhere else. That's why it's called GLOBAL warming.

  • Science is the key field of study that will lead humanity in the right direction, if not for it then our technological advancements.. our enhanced understanding of our world and what's outside it, would be void. Think, at this rate, who knows far humanity's knowledge will go 50 years from now, yet this asswipe denies her children a proper education. It's times like these where i feel embarrassed just to be alive with these close minded ignorants...

  • kill...me....ppplease

  • How does this pass as sufficient curriculum at all? In school, I like to debate differences in viewpoints, but in there it looks like they smell each others farts.

  • Galileo most certainly did not choose to give up his findings for religion. He had gotten on bad terms with the Catholic church and was forced to recant his theories and then live the rest of his live under house arrest.

  • If God wills us to turn the world into one big smoldering ashtray then so be it. If God does not what me to do this then he would have told me 2000 years ago.

  • I really don't see the difference between this and fundamentalist radical Islam... they themselves are actually the only evidence pointing against evolution.

  • living in a bubble will not change reality.

  • people in africa get better education than that, americans never fail to shock me in the way they live. words cannot express how gob-smacked i am to hear a matured women so arrogantly discarding science. to me she shouldn't even live in a house with gas and electricity considering how ungrateful she is

  • 0:43 ... it looks like he was fapping to that video then got scared when his mom called him

  • The kid looks like Justin Bieber..or is it just me?

  • Apparently, these people never thought that theistic evolution was possible... I mean, I'm a devout Catholic and I can safely say that I think theistic evolution makes lots of sense...

  • This poor kid...

Not just the bullshit his mom says. Look at that rat tail!

  • ima catholic and i pray when im in bad time's..but, christians are miserable ppl the only ppl they should be judging are racists, sexists, rapists, and mass murders...not if ur gay, or what kinda religion, political veiws u have.. or what music u listen to....god made us different in many ways and christians cant tell us what to do or think

  • FUCK THESE RELIGIOUS ASS-HOLE CHRISTIANS!!! HOW CAN THEY BELIEVE SOME MADE UP CRAP FROM A BOOK THAT WAS MADE BY OUR OWN KIND! SCIENCE TELLS US TWO BILLION TIMES MORE ACCURATE ANSWERS THEN THAT FAIRY TALE THAT WE CALL THE BIBLE!!!!!!!!!

  • @DeniqueCoelum Wait a moment, you won't trust an incomplete (though largely complete, I should mention) fossil record for evidence, but you'll gladly go with the Bible, for which there is no scientific evidence whatsoever? That seems like you're making a special exemption because it's your religious tome of choice rather than because it has any greater explanatory value.

And yes, natural selection, the largest gear of evolution. Showing that species are no static as the Bible would think.

  • @DeniqueCoelum It doesn't matter if there are gaps, because the fossil record still very clearly shows one species changing into another, across a very large span of time (verified with a large number of dating methods) and a very large number of species. This alone disproves creationism.

If you want other examples, the same mechanisms of evolution are exploited in animal breeding, such as dogs, to produce certain results, and genetic information cleanly shows the resuting descendance.

  • @DeniqueCoelum That isn't a myth. The mistake you are making is in your interpretation of the term "transitional fossils". What it actually regards is to a series of fossils which progresses from one to the next, each fossil being itself a species. The entire fossil record is composed of transitional fossils, because every fossil is a transition between the species that preceded it and the one that came after it.

And we do indeed see the evidence in those fossils that shows human evolution.

  • @DeniqueCoelum Dare I ask to which scientific theories you refer?

  • what happened to G1-12 are mandatory

  • poor kids , when they grow up on their own people will make fun of them.

I think this is bad from their mother to tell them no to think because all has the same answer "god".

  • what a stupid cunt brainwashing her kids.

  • Wait? Science does not solve anything? ooooh boy

  • child abuse

  • what does the old/new testament prove???science proves everything.

  • This is disgusting. She is teaching her children to completely disregard science, as if in some way that will help them through life? What's worse is she then forces them to believe in this nonsense about creationism. What a cunt, I'm sorry but there's no other word to descibe such cuntish behavior!

  • According to housewife mom, it's important to understand that nothing has changed in 2000 years since a book was written. Nothing we've learned, discovered, and created is valid.

To allow her to continue her beliefs, everything in her house representative of the last 2000 years of advancement should be confiscated. That would leave her with a roof, walls, no windows. That's how willfully ignorant hypocrites should be treated. They should be shown no mercy if they choose to act like this.

  • She needs a reality check from Tovah and Belma. Honestly....

  • Next to the "science" book is "Lord of the Rings". It probably has much better science in it than what he's being taught.

  • "It's the only possible answer to the question"

She had to say it twice so it would be more convincing? It's amazing how ignorant creationists really are.

  • Somebody has to be open minded about the possibility of us having a Maker of the functions of hydrogen and most of the most common elements working inside of us.

Mutations never order anything and natural selection can only select what has already been ordered. Think about that. It will break the circular reasoning of evolution. Mutations never order anything and natural selection will only select what has already been ordered.

It is the genome/design that gets the credit.

    watch?v=HoKVVYJ8KJM

  • implying there's only one possible answer.

  • A great example of brain washing. Thank you for this video. I'm going to go throw up now.

  • Religion now depends on the enforcement and reinforcement of ignorance to maintain the necessary receptiveness to old archaic ideologies based on prefabricated myths that are thousands of years old.

  • my god this video makes me so angry bitch doesnt know the differenc e between beliving and knowing and understanding school teachers dont say your dumb because you believe thery say your dumb because you cant understand thats the definition of dumb

one question for this horro mom do you believe you can read ore do you can because you learned it and understand it do believe in counting ore do you learned ????

  • @Mirewood Gandhi, Galileo, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Avicenna, Maimonides, Newton, Locke, Leibnitz, Averroes, Plato, Copernicus, etc. All of these were religious (if not necessarily devout). It's unfair to say that absolutely all religious people are ignorant.

  • I'm going to be sick!

  • "Science proves nothing." Are baby's from the stork?

  • The hypocrisy is glaring. You watch TV, you live in an air-conditioned or heated home, you use appliances, all of which are the products of science. And yet you teach your kids that science is bad and Galileo made the right choice by "giving it up".

  • im catholic and damn these people are retarded, atheists, not all theists are ignorant, infact ignorant theists are a dying breed, there are more and more intellectual religious people nowadays who makes sense, seriously dont hate on religion

  • A piece of my metaphorical soul died while watching this video

  • Sweet rat tail

  • That's what inbreeding, lack of hygienics and hatred toward education result with

  • Worse than the unparalleled ignorance of this woman, is the fact that she has procreated and is passing her ignorance forward.

  • A little of me just died knowing that this women have the same voting power as me.

  • This is horrible.

  • At 2:20 it has a picture of GWB purposefully visible by the camera. At the same time, the woman is making the most retarded face ever. People plan this shit to get a rise out of people. This is why these dumbass reality shows are such a hit in America and the unfortunately gullible other parts of the world.

  • Ok i have to point this out. This video is made to have a reaction and get views. It is obviously orchestrated to look like the description. They could also be people just going out of their way to get a rise out of people.

  • the dog is like '' man how can you be so fucking stupid''

  • "thats exactly what dad said!" no wonder!

my advise to this kid as Connolly says Never trust anyone who has read just one book. In this case the mom.

  • lol

  • @Landron pt2...now we can actually see planets and stars so we know they are there. We can calculate their gravitational pull and effects etc...moreover without the gravitational effect of Jupiter the earth may not even be here. Please be educated and know what's you are talking about before opening your mouth.

  • @Londron

I don't normally get into debates. Out of your terrible spelling and grammar I just wanted to let you know no one "believes" in gravity or electricity because It's fact. It's a law of nature that has been proven time and time again. Without gravity nothing it the universe would bind and we would fly off the earth. Actually without gravity, the earth or anything else wouldn't exist. Do you know anything about gravity or the effect it has on large masses such as planets and stars....

  • I know the top comment states this but this is in fact CHILD ABUSE!!!

  • EVOLVE

  • Where theres a Home School there is an idiot for a teacher.

  • I like how the video claims evolution to be a belief, but isn't religion and faith a belief too? I love how much hypocrisy is in religion.

  • @bigdoublej74

So believing i Gravity and electricity is also a belief? Therefore faith based and therefore a religion?

There is absolutally no difference between these 3 things. All of them can be directly observed easily.

  • I try to respect the US from Europe here but that this kind of shit is allowed is disturbing.

I find it weird that the US has no issues with brainwashing like this. Because most agree with it...

  • @Londron actually i live in the US and i'd rather have a dictator then these idiots

  • This is actually disturbing.

  • and this right here ladies and gentlemen is why the united states is near dead last in math and science and a whole population we are borderline retarded

  • Lol Galileo gave up science for Christ because the Church said they would kill him if he didn't.

  • Those kids are fuckin lucky, they have to study any statistics or labs, they can just say god did it.

  • What if you had to go to a school that told you the plane in the sky was really a flying carpet? I...I...I would believe it! Good little tard, now go run away from home and tell your parents to stop reproducing.

  • 6000 years? REALLY?

  • NASCAR fans.

  • 63% of Americans believe fundamentally in Adam and Eve

  • @FactualCommentor Well...you ARE a factual 'commentor' after all. MUST BE FACT

  • Holy fucking comments.

  • just look at the poor kid's haircut... that pretty much sums up the whole situation.

  • @LPNeptune

Yep... the hillbilly mullet at its best.

  • It's sad to see the mind of a child in the process of being destroyed.

  • this child is lost already. lets pray for him to... OH RITE AIN'T GOTTA PRAY JUST FUCKIN TELL HIM GOD DOESN'T EXIST

  • it's the only possible answer...of course it is lol..it's the only one where u don't have to think, do any work, or face reality..

  • This documentary underscored an important observation I have always carried with me, specific to why people worship/believe the way they do.

You can very clearly see this young man's desire to please his mother.

As an adult, he can either act with contrition (and mimic the religious patterns ingrained in him during these formitive years), or he will be forced to "make his way back" through the lies that have been heaped upon him (i.e. the misinformation about Galileo).

  • This makes me want to rape a Christian.

  • Ouch! The ignorance is hurting my head!-.-

  • Dogs*

  • Even the dovs like "what the fuck are you talking about.."

  • all i see and hear on this video is steamy shit

  • What I want to know, do the majority of Americans believe in evolution or creationism? Or do most Americans outweigh the possibilities of both?

  • "did you get to the part on here, where they say science doesn't prove anything?"

don't do that to your kids man, the world is a bigger place than just you and your backyard

  • Creationism is the only answer to all the questions, because usually, there's not a lot of questions to begin with.

    Back in reality however...

  • these people are terrified. what of, i'm not sure.

  • Lord of the Rings was sitting on their kitchen table. I thought those were the devils books ?

  • Creationism is fucking stupid. Galileo never gave up science for Christ. Nobody with any sense believes that Christ was a god. And nobody with any sense believes that Santa Claus is real.

  • Science doesn't prove anything! And thats why I don't believe in evolution, global warming, modern medicine, gravity, electricity, or oxygen!

  • that mom is such a bad person--and the fact that she thinks shes not makes her so much worse.

  • To Endnuenfyr: So religion is more important than knowledge? Hmmm... Since my lights are still on I don't think I time travelled back to 1699... The first sentence of your statement is exactly why I'm not religious. I don't want to live my life in fear and consider learning (through science) a good thing to aspire to. You want these kids to live in fear and know only what a book written 2000 years ago tells them. What a life, no thanks.

  • @Zuloff

t isn't about how religious you are, but the things you do in life, how you treat others, and what you do to try to leave the world better than when you found it. I wish people just learned to live life as a human, and stop trying to find some kind of salvation. That is how they get caught up in the dogma of organized religion.. I am not against faith and beliefs, but I am against organized religion. As it seeks to oppress and not elevate people to their true potential.

  • i feel like i need to go take a shower soooooo disgusting argh i bet 2 girls 1 cup isin't as bad as this

  • God did not create us. We created him.

  • Fearing the Lord is after all much more important than science. The most important thing is that these lucky kids are brought up by God fearing parents. They may later on come to realize that their parents were ignorant of scientific facts, but science isnt a religion (well to Pastor Dawkins sheep it might be) and they were taught something much more important, the ways of the Lord. We are not all into science and need to embrace the gospel of science but we certainly need the gospel of Christ.

  • @Endnuenfyr Do we?

  • Comment removed

  • Sweet Zombie Raptor Jesus! What have you done?!

  • Child abuse!!!!!

  • I feel so bad for the dog at 2:03 He's probally the smartest one in the room

  • How is this not considered child abuse?

  • Science never proved anything? I guess the next time you get on a plane uppward air pressure as a result of thrust less drag resulting in lift overcoming gravity won't work for you. I guess that jesus is under the wing holding you up! And Galileo didn't recant his silly theory that the Earth went round the Sun for jesus, he did it to save his life rather than be burned a heritic.

  • Yet she doesn't offer any proof. Ah, typical Christians. I'll brainwash my child into beleving a bunch of bullshit and then when someone comes along with facts they aren't swayed.

  • @piemakesmelol Actually, the typical Christian parent DOESN'T do that. It's a really bad stereotype.

They say "I dunno, how it all began, really. But the science works so... lets say the whole '7 days' thing was just added in oral tradition?" or something along those lines.

MOST are fairly reasonable.. it's just the fucktards who get air time :P

  • @VibrationsDrawn- I understand that but then isn't that kind of going against their own holy book?

  • @piemakesmelol Only if they're foolish enough to consider it's every word law. Many of the stories in the Bible are meant to be taken as guiding concepts NOT as absolute rules set in stone (not counting, obviously, the ten commandments.. although those are more of an Old Testament thing than a Christian thing<--if you count out the sabbath rule, though we seem to be using it anyhow, most of the time).

  • @VibrationsDrawn- Yeah but those are just basic rules for anyone. It wasn't the Bible that came up with the idea of "don't kill" that's just a product of evolution. Humans understand if they just do what they want then there's going to be consequences for everything. So we just dont. A lot of people take the Bible literelly like those idiots in the video. It's morally fucked up man. No-one should listen to the Bible.

  • @piemakesmelol I [gulps] am actually a Christian. I believe COMPLETELY in using our brains, though. Learning about the world around is something which brings me closer to a good path, to what I view God to be. We have logic and faith, each of these, for a reason (if you don't believe in God, then consider faith as equal to the placebo effect)

Jesus had a lot of really good changes to be made which, ironically, we've ruined. (legalistic christians so remind me of the pharisees, lol)

  • @VibrationsDrawn- Yeah but Jesus wasn't really...Jesus y'know? It was just some guy. I understand that you think the Bible a lot to offer you but really it doesn't offer anything new. The ten commandments, be good to your neighbour all those things..they've already been established. They're a part of humanity, it's just for some reason they decided to use Christianity as a means of getting it out there.

  • Here's exactly what is wrong with evangelical home school: the problem with the data the mom/teacher gave, is not that the temp has only gone up 0.6degrees, but that the USA is not the global climate. Whether you accept climate science or not the problem with the report in this clip is the generalizability of the data, not the data itself. Yet this mom/teacher was unable to make teach that because she is inherently bias. Should not teach.

2 degree rise in global temp and London goes swimming.

  • 0:08 Fail GLaDOS, I'm not buying it.

  • lol that kid with the rat tail is going to be a rebel. He already looks like he's hitting the bong... it's only a matter of time until those parents start to neglect him , it's sad how ignorant religion is.

  • Of course you are going to be called stupid if you believe in Creationism, because it proves absolutely nothing!

  • that's kind of demonizing to home schooling

Evangelicals are no longer at that level any more today

they have significantly shrunk among home schooled kids

  • How appalling! This is child abuse. You just want to yell at that American Mom that she's brainwashing her children. The ignorance and bias is shocking. I told my kids they must always ask questions and make up their own minds. Christians probably know very well nobody who wasn't told what to believe from an early age would ever believe in primitive religious nonsense. Only in America! (I hope, since I live in England)

  • That little mullet boy is so fuckable. So cute at his quite young age.

  • fucking stupid ignorant american parents fucking up their kids minds.

    disgusting

  • They shouldn't even be called creationists, but denialist!. I mean, in the age of DNA,

genetics and space travel, somebody speaking like this is just idiotic!. Even the Vatican

recognizes the validity of Darwinian evolution today! (priests are not stupid). To negate

the FACTS of evolution in the XXI century!. As Einstein put it: " there are only two things that are infinite in this world, the Universe and human stupidity, Hah! and I have my doubts about the Universe".

    Really sorry for the child!

  • @ecamilo762

Let's hope the poor kid thinks for himself later and rebels against his ignorant parents.

  • Science doesn't prove anything, does it? Get an infection, idiot woman, and see how fast you run for those antibiotics. Science proved those work to help you to get well and go back to spewing your foolish bible nonsense.

  • Gali-LEE-o?

  • This is disgusting.

  • i feel sorry for this kid..

  • I wouldn't get angry at these people. If they choose to make sure their kids never get a decent job then that's their problem.

  • @bazgreenglade I beg to differ. They are crippling their kids!!! I think the government has a legitimate role in getting involved in these types of extreme cases.

  • I'm 100% sure this kid is an atheist now, I mean look at his ponytail

  • Fuck religion... Pokemon is the same thing! My imaginary being is better than your's!

  • you only se freaks like this in usa and iran, the rest of the worls seems to be living in the age of sience.

  • I just lost several IQ points just listening to this mentally ill woman.

  • Is ist just me, or does he resemble Justin Bieber?

  • @Mrster He does! Like a a bald Justin Bieber. :)

  • SICK, sick people. Frightening, even. It's shit like this that gives all home schooling a bad name - even if it shouldn't have one.

  • Of course creationism is the only answer that fits all the questions. Because it requires no substance. It's a blanket answer. How did life begin? God. How was the earth created? God. How do you explain an unexplained occurence or phenomenon? God. Why is pie delicious? God. Train A leaves Chicago heading west at 2:00 pm, travelling at 60 miles per hour...

  • wow i can't believe the world is actually bullied by a country who have this kind of people, a 21st century world country with bronce age mind people, just great

  • okay i understand why evangelical christians dont accept evolution, but to reject global warming as well? i thought evangelicals were ignorant, but i didnt think they were THIS ignorant. im all for free speech, but i think there should be a law prohibiting saying nonsense such as global warming is fraud, because its a matter of life and death here.

  • Take a good look, everybody. The perpetual willful ignorance. The shameless passing on of groundless superstition to her child in the face of mountains of physical evidence proving her wrong. Regardless of which religion it is, the destructive effects on any advanced civilization are all the same. THAT is the face of the enemy.

  • Is there some sort of significance with the unfinished haircut. Can he not commit to finally getting rid of his mullet.

  • and people wonder what happened to the u.s...

this has to stop.. is time for you americans to reclaim your country and teach us (rest of the world), about new methods, new meanings..new ways of doing things.

    peace.

  • That kid looks like he could give you a bloody nose in a flash.

  • WHY is there a Lord of the Rings book on the table at 2:07?

  • @DragonFly122

I saw that when I watched this movie, I love LOTR, I've read all three... twice!

But unfortunetly, they were probably making fun of it and calling it evil. :P

  • I don't understand...parents have the option to simply not educate their kids? I mean shouldn't this be illegal? The kids aren't required to learn actual science at all?

  • This is heartbreaking.

  • why are people like this allowed to breed?

and what's with the rat tail on the back of the kid's head? that just scream white trash

  • Believe it or not creationisms gonna offend ppl of other religions if it's taught at school evolution, not so much

  • @gromtkn agree. nice profile pic btw :)

  • @gromtkn ok. personally i think it's not bad to have religion classes for 1 or 2 years in school. after all religion still makes a big part of our culture.

  • @gromtkn kids should be thaught evolution and creation. but evolution in science and creation in religion classes. don't mix these things up.

  • that glob of goo came from that penis shaped headed creature

  • yup, teach your kid creationism, which is, after all, "science." Poor kid, a mother with NO understanding of science should NOT be allowed to teach her kid.
