I was in the balcony at Colonel White in the '78-'79 season and saw Dwight blow the roof off, getting 53. Time and again he would sky for a defensive rebound over everyone, and take it the length of the floor in about 1.3 seconds for a Jordan-like slam or a spectacular triple pump move and finish over the rim-- seemingly without breaking a sweat. I once heard John Paxson call him the biggest waste of talent in the history of the NBA, or words to that effect. A very sad cautionary tale...
Dwight thrilled us all. I remember playing with him and my friend Elliot Payne at Trotwood; with Elliot's cousin "Toki". It was CRAZY. It was the first time I saw two players take over a game a start playing each other. The rest of the 8 players including myself just step off the court and enjoyed the "GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH". I cry when I think of it... I thank God for Dwight. Thanks brother you were the best. Truly
I met Dwight Anderson a few months back here in Dayton Ohio and he was a very engaging, friendly gentleman. He is open, honest and enjoyable to talk to. And he has an amazing story. This documentary should be something.

I'm looking forward to seeing the documentary. Dwight Anderson could have had it all, and sometimes things just don't work out.
