Doesn't including the entire slide mess with the scanner's exposure of the slide? Why not crop the photos straight in scangear and get a better exposed slide?
thank you.... and for those like me that, try as we might to focus on the details, sometimes need additional information.... I am embarrassed to say, I could not get slides to scan because I did not take off the "protective page" inside the scanner... but your visual-step-by-step instructions did help me immensely!
