  • If Lisa had big tits I'd still bang her

  • I'd like to bang a young Lisa Randall.

  • F Math.

  • Wow, tough crowd. -_- I dont see what justifies the complaints.

  • um

  • I blame it on kaku's weird questions, he should have just let her the f* explain, what m-theory is,inst. of boring us twitchy....

  • Click on hisvorpalswords name above and see if he doesn't care that she's a woman! He'd probably give rave reviews if she gave a physics lecture while doing some of the things on his channel. :)

  • Ok I'm sorry but that was dam funny...."do you have a lot of experience being a woman? I have a lot of experience being a woman"...heehee :)

  • Lisa is hot!

  • RIP Kaku. That damn tsunami took a greater toll than we can ever know!

  • our knowledge is growing so fast, that even though string theory & higher dimensions is truly mind-blowing and rightfully, in a millennium this knowledge will be as primitive as the wheel technology to us, physics rules. we are learning so much so fast, who knows what we will know in 3011, I just cannot imagine what we will know, I wish I was alive, but I am excited for humanity to experience it, even if I won't be alive, I am excited that it will still happen

  • Dr Lisa Randall is amazing ,read her book before you judge her They don't just hire anybody at Harvard .

  • @Timetraveler7777 Meh. They hired Cornell West, that doesn't bode well for their credibility.

  • She's a scientist, not a politician or public speaker..... she did wonderful in my opinion.

  • @KaslarProductions she's a professor.

  • It seems that whenever she is interviewed (here & Charlie Rose), they spend way too much time on her personally (her life, opinions, etc), instead of focusing on her ideas. It didn't seem that way with his first guest (Greene); they got right to the theory. Why is this relevant?

  • I thought to be a Professor at Harvard you had to pass English 111 lol

  • "Have you had any experience being a women" LOL!

  • Yes, I do enjoy seeing a woman physists, % wise they are still low in this world. I love physics & I am a woman!!!!!

  • she had a lot of experience being a woman = she had a lot of sex

  • @AAAjMMMiRRR No, she just knows what it's like being treated as a woman in the way of life she chose.

  • "Do you have any experience being a woman?" I nearly choked on my Arizona Iced Tea from the laughter. And than the awkwardness continued all the way through the entire interview.

  • I thought it was an excellent interview. Also, anyone else think Dr. Kaku looks exactly like Bill Maher. Not only that, they have the same exact speaking style.

  • OMG "how did you feel being a woman" "how did you get into theoretical physics" "where did you grow up" WHATS WRONG WITH HIM? this is science not gossip. I bet he is sexist

  • @Shoyrou japan... he cant help it

  • Quantum physics is not racist or sexist. That's one reason why I love it.

  • Lisa Randall is the bees knees.

  • If you read Kaku's book Hyperspace the first thing he talks about is why he got into physics and the drive behind his life. He is not being mysogonist

  • Kaku should have started his other talks with men with Where did you grow up? and where there a particular book ,, I hear a asian minded sexist. He obviously dont think about women in more than 1 dimension

  • What a complete waste of time to listen to this Michio! But can any among you sexists derive the inverse square law, or even solve a forth grade word problem? Because probably she can.

  • She "Thinks" A lot...

  • i can't believe the first part of this... she talked for sooo long about her schooling and shit

  • She made some interesting points on M-Theory. But her apparel is the one of a hur.

  • There was no way i was watching that whole video....umm..uhh..i'd'd'd..uuummm....maybe people couldn't stand you at school because you studder so damn much!

  • women are intellectually inferior to men. there i said it.

  • We know that women can't do science. Or, if they attempt to do science, the rest of their brain, including the ability to communicate what they know, goes to shit.

There are probably 10,000 male scientists on the planet who would be more interesting and able to communicate for this interview than she is. Obviously, it's just AA bullshit once again that she's even wasting my time just now.

  • I probably had the oddest moment in which I got interested in physics. No I'm not a physicist (yet), but I study it on my off time.

  • @BrothaDesmond1 i got that feeling a few months ago when i watched carl sagan's cosmos. it has changed my view on life in a big way, for the better of course. =)

  • To paraphrase, um, uh, uh, um, woman, um, um, math, um, uh.

  • It's funny how she bicth's about things not being fair for women when the ONLY reason she is paid AMY attenion is BECAUSE she is a WOMAN!

  • they are not fair, women get a pass until results are needed. we all pay for this!

  • im sure she's really clever but she's not a good speaker at all! disappointing considering that what she's talking about is so interesting.

  • Eistein was as you proffesor know high school drop out, and all the profesors like you hated him and tought he was stupid. Eistein was smart(smarter then all the profesors around him) but was still far from the truth.

  • No, no that one." You heard me but you did not understand me". Wow! hear all their titles, it knocks you down immidiately, empty, pompous, and using all this rare words. Yeh, how woman can be a physicist? really, are we still living in dark ages? yes we do and everything has its own little man made order, and God forbide you want to be different they will eat you alive.

  • Math is man made (a game, the way we see the world around us), the Universe is not man made, so how you can explain things happening in the Universe using math. Why they don't use any logic?

  • Logic is a branch of math.

  • The scientists remind me about my 1 year and half grandaughter. You explain things to her, then she goes and does the total opposite. What a waste of time and MONEY.

  • haha. 'have you ever had experience beinig a woman?'

  • @desalvoanthony have you?

  • This was great - quite insightful - but i have to say the poor girl, Lisa i think, seemed very nervous :(

  • women cant do science!

  • isn't gravity the result of other laws in action?

  • @2012DarkKnight No, not at all. Gravity is the attraction between a large mass and a smaller mass.

  • @BladeNKrumpets

    wrong.

Space is curved and results in gravity and not because of attraction because that would mean spontaneous attraction. Einstein has proven spontaneous attractions wrong with general relativity, although school might still say attraction.

  • no. its the other way around. people are educated as such. spacetime is like a blanket stretched tight, and when you have an object sitting on it, it creates a dip, thus attracting more mass. thats how its taught. its taught this way because its easier to believe and easier to teach.

and spontaneous attraction would assume that mass is created on a regular basis... which is completely wrong

  • no, gravity is the attraction of mass.

  • Bit dissapointed the bulk of the questions were in regards to the scientist's gender. As to the below, science has always tended to show a degre of unfairness toward theories without evidence.

  • MAJOR red flag here.

The physic's community is being 'unfair'?

Would that be the same way as the biology community is 'unfair' to creationists?

I'm not saying it is, but accusations of unfairness SERIOUSLY trouble me.

  • @Shavarnarak It isn't unfair to creationism. Creationism has no proof.

  • Meh I think Michio Kaku is the sexiest......I mean just look at his hair cut!!

  • Comment removed

  • Lisa Randall is the hottest physicist I've ever seen!!!! I looked her up on google images and her body is so sexy!!

  • I think Brian Cox is the hottest. :P

    But then, I'm gay...

  • uriel Those are good questions! I think if gravity is "leaking" through from other dimention(s) that could account for it's weakness and/or time having a affect on gravity. I'm not sure what exactly what you mean by theres not enough "stuff" around? If you are talking about space, even in space it is not a perfect vaccum....meaning totally devoid of matter & particles, atoms, molecules etc.. LIVE LONG and PROSPER!!!

  • thats whats up right now. its comming from other dimensions, not going other places. n that explains thats why its the biggest pussy of all the forces

  • the weakness of gravity creates space? Does time slow down gravity? If particles can travell in time, is that why theres not enough stuff around? It won't keep still long enough to be weighed! Are there more than strings to this orchestra?

  • I dont think she knows the subject good

  • I dont think you know also the subject of choice.

  • Michio, why are you asking her all these personal questions about how she got into phsyics, etc. You didn't ask Dr. Greene those kinds of questions. Are you that stunned that a woman can be a theoretical physicist?? Who cares about her personal life. I want to hear more about M theory!

  • Ehh, I'd still do her.

  • do you have experiance being a woman?

  • it's a shame she's a professor at harvard

  • Dr. Maku,

The weak and strong force are one end, or the other, of a vector.

Our universe is a, bubble, within itself. There are no other dimensions beyond the right-hand-rule, and time. A vector basis triangle traveling. With mathematical possibilities, and probabilities included, theory may be trying to over simplify, by exploring beyond the Laws of Physics. Math can reason anything, but Physics reasons everything.

    Addsum,

    Ronin Kannushi.

  • Enjoyed this quite a bit.

  • what a waste. 10 mins and there's more about her and old music than string theory

  • would suck to be one of her students

  • Barely tolerable interview. She needs to learn how to compose her thoughts before speaking. And for fucks sake, no one cares that she's a woman.

  • @hisvorpalswords Its common to see mathematicians not being slick at communicating, I can totally identify with that. And she is freaking hot too so it matters quite a bit! good sir!

  • @hisvorpalswords

She was fine. She was just answering his questions.

It's not like she brought it up. It isn't that different from Neil Tyson being asked about race and how he chose to enter astrophysics. Usually he talks just about science, but if you ask him questions about himself and his experience, he's fine with answering them.

  • @hisvorpalswords

yeah no shit eh, less feelings more explaining physics.

  • You guys are fucking retarded for judging a woman's quirky speech. She's on a radio show, can be nervous and is acutely intelligent. The host is a polished Science Channel speaker. Why does this matter? This is sadly rigid and a waste of time. I know smarty pants academic types and they don't have time to tune their social skills to your liking. You are a bunch of blowhards without the prowess to comprehend what the message is.

  • i know i do

    lol

  • are you sure "m" stands for membranes Michio?

  • she's nervous perhaps or probably thinks faster than she can speak ...however she is extremely smart very aware..i wish I had an insight as the way she comes up with her knowing so...I admire this woman even though i think I have a bias towards men scientist, theorist, mathematicians etc...However she should slow down and think before she thinks & spills it out SO.

  • I agree!!! She's also rather annoying, i mean, i wonder why she speaks like that...

  • wow she really talks like a young girl

  • @onenhero lol

  • nice i love math too.

  • i bet she got passed around in college

  • No, she mostly stuck with her Math teacher.

  • okay good videos bad arguments people need to learn to not get involve hen they are not allowed.

  • And blacks too, right? Your mental process works like that of a primitive monkey beating his chest for power and superiority. It's because of people like you that wars and abuse of power will never end. Continue these primitive shows of dominance, only now humans can take it to the next level - they have nukes.

  • thegaff - as I said, it's people like you who will destroy this world with your primitive need for dominance. Hopefully, in the future, your primitive kind will be eradicated to save the human race. There's no more room in society for this rubbish. Evolve, or get out. It's too serious now, with our advancing technology, people like you can only destroy in order to carry out your self-imposed superiority. No more monkeys.

  • You're comparing ME to Hitler? You, the one who believes blacks and women are inferior. You, who are so primitive you need to beat your chest in dominance over others? This is a dangerous way to be, and it has cased all wars and cruel acts throughout history. Unless humans evoleve, people like you will end up destroying all of us for your need for superiority and dominance. As I said, now humans have nukes. It's too dangerous, in society now, for people like you toroam free.

  • Further, if me and my kind pass into history, your primitive, chest thumping kind will "end" society as we know it, for you will destroy everything in order carry out your primitive lust for dominance. Also, if I were you I wouldn't add "We are coming for you." That can be taken as a threat, and this all can be traced if need be. Funny how those who indeed ARE akin to Hitler accuse "others" of being just that for speaking up against bigotry. lol

  • Thank you for proving MY point. Nuff said.

  • @thegafferlives

actually it might end up the other way around.

  • Explain.

  • I AGREE!!!

  • I AGREE!!!

  • Many people on you tube are too concerned with how hot a girl is. Even an average looking girl is considered as hot on you tube. I don't get it ! Anyway, this string theory stuff is very interesting

  • i know, i think that is the more 'primate-like' people who focus solely on sex...im not saying i don't like sex but i don't talk about girls all of my time, i have lots of other stuff to do

  • how is she good looking?

  • dirtclan-

    cannot pm you.

multiple accounts are the way to get rid of these trolls.

  • i'd do lisa randall nasty haha

  • Oh my GOD

"Well, we're running out of time.."

yeah no shit, because fine ass Lisa Randall seemed to think this was 'tell us your life story' hour.

You could almost skip this part of the program and you'd miss nothing. (unless you actually care about how Lisa got her start)

  • I want to learn about science, not hear about this lady's life.

  • Hard to follow her, has an annoying whatcha macall it ... the way she talks... she defiantly does not sound NEWYORK lol.. she talks so choppy.. drive me nuts!!!

  • that first question had completely unrelated parts.

  • Holy shit lisa randall is HOT. Google her picture. Not to mention very smart :)

  • She is so smart and foxy. She is one of a kind. I hope there will be more women like her.

  • @SmokingPhoenix85

    I like her voice.

  • Lisa is incredibly sexy for her intelligence and great looking style. Google her picture from TIME magazine to see what I mean.

  • sexy for her intelligence? what the hell is that supposed to mean?

  • "sexy for her intelligence? what the hell is that supposed to mean?"

It means a good looking woman is 100x better looking when she is also intelligent. Stupid chicks have two uses.

  • sex and beating ? XD jk

  • you sound so stupid you don't even have any use!

  • you're not making sense kid.

    move along

  • you move along, that you don't understand means only you are limited & you call me kid you think you're above and better which proves you are not.

  • I do understand what you said, and what you meant but it doesn't mean you're making sense.

You were just trying to offend me because you were offended by my "two uses" comment.

    Now let's both move along.

  • it took him forever to get to the real fucking interview didn't it

  • ugh, god - i noticed that too. Over five minutes into it and he's still asking her about her "experiences as a woman"... she's there to talk about M-theory for pete's sakes! Grrrr... that makes me so mad...

  • lisa is so f*cking hot

  • why is she air-headed? because she didn't have a seminal moment that made her go into physics? i'd bet a nickel that Lisa Randall could outsmart nightimer2. i think she was getting annoyed at all the 'how did you...' questions...get down to business!

  • I saw her speak at Fermilab once. She spoke very simply because she wanted the audience to be able to understand the complicated ideas that she spoke of. However, there was one section where she got into mathematics that was way over most their heads & yet completely blew away the few of us who knew what she was saying.

Personally, I have alot respect 4 Lisa's wicked-level sense of intelligence.

  • Really? How many original thoughts have you had in your life?

  • thank you kindly for this up

  • good videos keep it up
