TBC server is not really needed. Every one miss TBC, I missed it too. I still believe that was the best part of WoW they ever make. But instead making TBC server, we all can make a second or 3rd character and lvl up till 70, stop you xp and stay on Outlands, play the way we want and we like. There is many runs on outland's Raid. We all love that moment in our memorie when we lvl up 58 and we standing on front of portal to Outland and we new there is some thing different there waitng for us.
Best zone ever. I quit WoW almost a year ago, and I still listen to this. Might make a trial account and get some friends to summon me to Zangarmarsh on top of a mushroom, so that I can just sit and listen and absorb the ambience.
One thing I noticed before I left, the weird calls and whistles have gone from the zone. I actually miss those, dunno why Blizzard removed them.

[2006-2010] Constant WoW gameplay until a voice in my head told me not to resubscribe. So I listened; found myself in other worlds throughout the year, until next week. Then i'll have my main & Acturis crawl out of a cave to see "wth has happened to Azeroth". (lol) I enjoyed questing here and at times between heroics i still made my way out to visit Outlands like the Marsh.
I love Zangar, chill there and chat with my guildies all the time. Haha, one time I was flyin around, landed on top of one of them mushrooms, and stumbled across a hooka with a skeleton next to it. Poor guy, musta toked just alil too much
I remember when I got to this zone. I was like "Oh, thank GOD I am out of Hellfire. Wait, the fuck is this shit?" Then I played for about 2 hours and said "Fuck going to Nagrand, I'm never leaving"
@panpala He means that he wants that expansion back, and not the ones to come after. Burning Crusade really was the best expansion, after all. Well, Wrath was great but I think Burning Crusade added much more to the game. Wrath really only expanded upon what was already there.

if anything reminds me of Avatar is the first part of Mount Hyjal and some places in Deepholm. Having said that my graphics are is a shitload better now than it was when Wotlk came out
@msgoldoche2 Well it IS an MMO. All mmo's make you pay continuously somehow. Even the 'free' ones make you buy better armor for real money. I do agree that there needs to be a Warcraft 4 though!

@BelieveandtrustJesus Wow doesn't do that, weak characters do. I've been playing on and off since EU release back in '05 and I've never let my school or life suffer from playing it. And I've raided everything and experienced it all.

Tbh I hated this zone at first, but after awhile I grew to love it. Learning more and more about The Draenei/Kurenai lore. My ONLY regret is that I started playing WoW in late '06 and not release in '04. =x
BC has some of the best quest and music score around.

one of the best places in OL imo, the worst has got to be shadowmoon valley lol, i dont know anyone on my server tht goes ther whilst in OL. The music is nice and the scenery in zangar, nagrand is nice too and the music in terrokar is epic, blades edge is kinda good too, but i think the most popular zones in OL are hellfire, zangar, nagrand and terrokar
@Johnzen03 Everbody said the same during TBC. Everybody hated it and wanted classic. At the end of the day, its just that you think things where better in memories. Thats why i stopped playing WoW also. They make it so addictive
I loved the beauty, the atmosphere, and the creatures of Zangarmarsh. However, I was disappointed with the Naga in that region, while they had Water elementals, where were the Snap Dragons? the Couatl? and those Dragon Turtles?
Well, I was hopeing to finally face those cool creatures the Naga used in Warcraft 3 when I entered Outland, but sadly, they were nowhere to be found......

I find it hard to get into questing here. There's not much point when you can transition from Hellfire Peninsula directly to Nagrand without missing a step. And to be honest, Nagrand is a better area to be questing than Zangarmarsh.
@NaarghultheShadow Cenarion expedition reputation FTW, also Zangamarsh is a great place for farming herbs. And tbh I liked the quests in Zanga much better than the ones in Nagrand. Never did any of the Nagrand quests twice. I now go to this place for ore/gas/leather farming only.
I hate how, as you are leveling through these old worlds, everything you do feels irrelevant. You lose so much of the activism once a new expansion comes out. If they stop increasing level caps and rocketting up gear stats, they would be able to make so much more enjoyable content.
True, old content has that abandoned feeling after new stuff comes out....Kind inevitable. I get some serious nostalgia re-visiting it. A lot of OL gets neglected as players hurry on to Northrend. Still, that's oddly appropriate for OL lol. Draenor IS a completely different planet that, until recently, had been inaccessible from Azeroth. You expect it to be a little lonely. Anyway. I think the developers realize that. I'm hopeful that Cataclysm will breathe new life back into Old Azeroth.
@Zzeke5: dude that is the absolute truth. I'm really hoping that they are trying to make the entire game more cohesive so that people can enjoy playing 1-85 instead of just trying to get to the end content as quickly as possible.
This zone is great even if just standing in doing nothing. I absolutely agree with those who say that TBC had amazing graphics and music.
I actually came back to WoW after 2 years break a week ago and I already stopped again. Its unbearable how the lowlevel gameplay is broken .. and all those freakin kids all around, meh .. you rarely ever bump into someone able to speak english ..
mm I never played when I was younger, because I didn't have the money to pay for subscription. So started playing recently. A lot of people I know, not all, but a lot have said it's gone seriously downhill. Of course I don't know what they mean, but it seems a shame :( picked a wrong time to start playing I guess.
@Insaneagram Yeah its a shame you didnt experience vanilla wow mate, really was epic, the huge battles at the crossroads, AQ and all the excitment but WoW is still good. I mean theyre are a lot more morons unfortunatly and many things have been made easier, but theres still a lot of fun to be had if you get in with some likeminded people. dont let the past bother your enjoyment. gl and have fun with the game
in OL my fav places r zangarmarsh because its just beautiful to look around and the quests r quite gd too, blades edge mountains because i like the brutal, save look, spikes as mountains and the ogres roaming the area, its nicely suited and terrokar, i dont like netherstorm or nagrand though, i dont kno why i didnt like nagrand... just didnt. Hellfire is alright too
Zangarmarsh and Nagrand are simply the best places in WOW forever, I wish Blizz would go bakc to creating such wonderful environments. The Burning Crusade was their gratest achievement so far WOTLK is far weaker.

IMO, the best music in the game. I LOVED The Burning Crusade expasion. Can't say the same for Wrath, but fun nonetheless.
I hope Cataclysm parallels BC gameplay/lore.

I hate how, as you are leveling through these old worlds, everything you do feels irrelevant. You lose so much of the activism once a new expansion comes out. If they stop increasing level caps and rocketting up gear stats, they would be able to make so much more enjoyable content.

True, old content has that abandoned feeling after new stuff comes out....Kind inevitable. I get some serious nostalgia re-visiting it. A lot of OL gets neglected as players hurry on to Northrend. Still, that's oddly appropriate for OL lol. Draenor IS a completely different planet that, until recently, had been inaccessible from Azeroth. You expect it to be a little lonely. Anyway. I think the developers realize that. I'm hopeful that Cataclysm will breathe new life back into Old Azeroth.

@Zzeke5: dude that is the absolute truth. I'm really hoping that they are trying to make the entire game more cohesive so that people can enjoy playing 1-85 instead of just trying to get to the end content as quickly as possible.

This zone is great even if just standing in doing nothing. I absolutely agree with those who say that TBC had amazing graphics and music.
I actually came back to WoW after 2 years break a week ago and I already stopped again. Its unbearable how the lowlevel gameplay is broken .. and all those freakin kids all around, meh .. you rarely ever bump into someone able to speak english ..

mm I never played when I was younger, because I didn't have the money to pay for subscription. So started playing recently. A lot of people I know, not all, but a lot have said it's gone seriously downhill. Of course I don't know what they mean, but it seems a shame :( picked a wrong time to start playing I guess.

@Insaneagram Yeah its a shame you didnt experience vanilla wow mate, really was epic, the huge battles at the crossroads, AQ and all the excitment but WoW is still good. I mean theyre are a lot more morons unfortunatly and many things have been made easier, but theres still a lot of fun to be had if you get in with some likeminded people. dont let the past bother your enjoyment. gl and have fun with the game

i think what has gone 'seriously downhill' is the attitude of the players more than the game (although the game has become too easy).
it's turned into something fanatical for some people and the essence of the game has turned from being social to being gear-oriented.
that's why i level guildless then look for a small, friendly guild (who i meet instancing), and who value good people over epics.

in OL my fav places r zangarmarsh because its just beautiful to look around and the quests r quite gd too, blades edge mountains because i like the brutal, save look, spikes as mountains and the ogres roaming the area, its nicely suited and terrokar, i dont like netherstorm or nagrand though, i dont kno why i didnt like nagrand... just didnt. Hellfire is alright too

Zangarmarsh and Nagrand are simply the best places in WOW forever, I wish Blizz would go bakc to creating such wonderful environments. The Burning Crusade was their gratest achievement so far WOTLK is far weaker.
