  • Is this beat for sale?

  • @BridgewaterLatino yeah if you want it.

Drop me an email at wlbeats@aol.co.uk

  • YO U SEEM MAD COOL . WHY ISN'T THERE CHICKS LIKE U THATS INTO REAL HIP HOP . IT'S A FEW OUT THERE BUT NOT A LOT DOUGH

  • @LEZTHEGOON thanks alot. But I think that goes for most people though. Real hip hop doesn't get played because being real doesn't sell anymore.

  • Look at me im high xD nice work :)

  • sounds like 2pac definition of a thug nigga in the begining

  • dis mad dope!!

  • lovin it from scratch nice chill vibe and also ur voice is realy suited to present like radio or something hahaha just thought id mention it ;)

  • you got a facebook

    ?

  • yeh your cute too, love the english accent. sexy. get at me? haha

  • love your work girl!

  • another sick tune!!!!

  • Nice!! I have a MPD and I also use Reason. I was wondering if you quantize your drums or any other instruments when you play them? If so, do you set it to 100%..50%..etc..? Sounds good though!

  • @lucyndskywtdiamonds I used to set the quantize at 100%, but I don't anymore because it makes my beats sound a bit static and rhythmless.

So now I set it to about 50% for the kicks and snares and turn it off for the other instruments except bass. I also use an mpc groove template to give it a boom bap swing.

If you check out my video "Making Reason sound like an mpc" there should be a link to that groove template.

  • rah your english ... court my off guard with that .. banging beat tho still

  • @remixg2k lol

  • those synths remind me of dam-funk

    nice stuff (:

  • FREE STYLE HIP HOP BEATS ARE AWESOME. You're so pretty too! I would love to some collabos.

  • ur cute whats upp add me

  • you did use a sample that "you don't stop" part of the beat is the sample

  • Is this beat available to buy with exclusive rights?

  • is there any way i can get this beat on WAV download???!!!! :D

  • is good 4 a girl.

  • sounds like alot of preloaded samples to me

  • @MicksORGANIC Nope just synths

  • I realy like is how the Drums sound and how they are set .. expt. that high 808 smthg.

but its a cool beat... "don't stop one two..."

  • Is this where music is going? =( A machine can't compare to real instruments

  • @deadkennedys909 no it can't but it can enhance it and open up other ossibilities. Music shouldn't be stagnant.

  • @deadkennedys909

Um, in my opinion, real drums when miked up rarely hit as hard as a well compressed programmed drum track when played through a big outdoor or club soundsystem. In certain situations machines are favourable to real instruments. Musicianship will permeate everything a good producer does whatever tools he or she chooses. Live acoustic music works best in a small intimate setting. Hip Hop is for crowds and dancing. S'gotta be LOUD and s'gotta be PHAT!!!!!!

  • @Twangbot

I disagree completly, and I think that it sucks that what you wrote is even though about. I played a drums during a set at Electric Daisy Carnival in Los Angeles and they had my set sounds so crisp and bumping harder then the drum and bass stage they had. You don't need to use a machine to get the sound you want, you just need to know what your doing and get the right gear. I think it's dumb people go to see someone standing on stage pressing buttons compared to something live.

  • @deadkennedys909 I actually prefer music with live instruments. However, I disagree with you. You need an amp to make Rock, Punk, Metal etc. An amp is not an instrument its a machine which enhances the guitar. It is no different from a computer in that sense.

Sampiling is not just pressing buttons. There is a lot of analysis and creativity that goes into transforming one song and creating another song. If you have a creative mind you could create new genres with electronic instruments.

  • @deadkennedys909

Oh!? I had assumed from your comment that you were some kind of acoustic purist! You were cussing machines when you use them yourself. What are your mics, amps, EQs, compressors, limiters and PA speakers if not machines? When people first started to record sound I'm sure there were those who complained that this new technology was evil blah blah blah. Relax dude! Try to see the best in peoples creative efforts, even if their medium is unfamiliar to you.

  • Cool beat, but didn't you use a vocal sample towards the end?

  • UMMM I HEAR SOMEONE TALKING IN THE BACKGROUND... WOULDN'T THAT BE CONSIDERED A SAMPLE? WHAT PROGRAM ARE YOU USING?
