  • how btiful <3

  • Ladies and Gentleman, We Have An Official FUBAR. That dubious distinction goes to nachocheese154, who UNLIKE 334 other people couldn't tell the difference between like and dislike. WAY TO GO, genious. It was only a matter of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bloodlet999 Really, I couldn't give a shit. It was fun while it lasted.

  • Nooooooooooo I disliked it by accident. Kill me, please

  • "did Bruce copy tupac"? BLASPHEMY, seek penance for your sins from the all mighty Bruce!

  • @nachocheese154 Who is tupac?....LOL....Oh no,I'm old and used LOL!...damn.....I remember when people still said groovy.....

  • what year was thisa song from ?

  • Um, I can play it!! I am a jazz pianist though....took me weeks to learn the solo by ear....just because it is amazing!!

  • It's about time I've stumbled upon a great song with ZERO dislikes. This song makes me think back at what I might have done before in the past, and it let's me know that somethings are what they are and I can't always fix them (trust me, I'm rather OCD).

  • this song just sends a sense of the peace over my whole body I knew when I heard this song all the time years ago. So fucking stressed now, these couple of minutes have been the least stressed for years. Funny how music can do more then anything, just bring you whole happiness and contement for a few minutes.... Really feeling again, getting a grasp of what it was like to be happy.

  • did he copy tupacs song changes or did tupac copy bruce?

  • You are kidding right!!?

  • @shaddow339 Tupac did. And it's sampling.

    He probably asked.

  • @shaddow339 This is the original!!

  • this song = class

  • I wish I could learn piano, this would be the first song I will ever try to do. It's just that badass

  • @efan2011 I told my piano teacher I'd like to learn this song. For some reason I wasn't surprised when he said he didn't know of it. I felt like shouting at him!!

  • @1091Floyd21

Damn, smh. How old is he? If he's an older guy, then he needs to get out from the rock, but if he is younger he might not listen to 80's music.

I might be getting some lessons on how to play this because my music teacher at college is an expert a teaching piano, so my wish might be accomplished

  • the first person to dislike this we must all band together and hunt them down

  • 2pac..>.>

  • this is the song of king of hip hpo 2 pac suckers!

  • @Mr82luc

2Pac Changes ;) but this is oryginal mate

  • Thanks so much for putting this song on you tube. I couldn't believe before such a great song and not being able to find the original film clip. Finally it's here. Quality song and timeless really.

  • Community

  • 198 people know the way it is!

  • :)

  • 0 dislikes, i guess it's because the people who find this song are probably seeking it out, and therefore WANT to hear it.

  • On most songs like this, if it is not the original, who gives a shit????????

    This is classic

  • for fun, im gonna say "get a job" ;)......in all seriousness, great post! great song!

  • @bloodlet999 "For all you tools who think you can actually play this song, you uh can't..", Don't you believe him!

  • who sings the version with 2pac?

  • @61n9ner 2pac!

  • I'm glad I found the REAL Bruce Hornsby on here! I'm tired of these tools also! LOL. Thanks for posting!

  • At 3:15 he looks like Nicholas Cage.

  • You just know when a song is so much better then todays conveyor belt of pop crap!!! and he is another classic example!

  • finally

  • exquisite song, well done for posting the original

  • This was my very first concert ....Pensacola beach ....1988-ish...i was 10 ! awesome show...always a place in my heart!!

  • @pisces78mb Whoever took you to see him are very smart and have excellent taste :)

  • @blackcoffy83 awe thanks! I can remember feeling this insane vibe from the crowd....my love for music blossomed from that day forward :) You are very suprisingly young to like this stuff..im impresesed!!

  • @pisces78mb My mom and dad used to listen to an adult contemporary radio station in Toronto so I grew listening to a lot of classic songs from the '70's and '80's. The radio station played this song a lot. Growing up listening to all types of music has influenced my taste :)

  • finally!!a video with no dislikes:D

  • This is the measure of the 80's,a classic, lets see where the so called music of todays bands are in 25 years...

  • This is an AWESOME song. Can listen to this for hours.

  • Glad I found this. I bought the album back when on the strength of this piece - on tape first, then CD. Imagine my horror when I heard the abomination dedicated to 2pac... Thanks for uploading it! Hopefully more folk will see it and hear what real music, and good jazz piano, sounds like... If you enjoy this, try some early Billy Joel!

  • Am I the only one thinking the drummer looks an awful lot like Kevin Dillon.

  • @bloodlet999 I mean Kevin Dillion from Platoon

  • @bloodlet999 you have a very...uhh special way of commenting dude:)

  • how the fuck has this only got 4000 views

  • Fully got caught singing along with this in a traffic jam the other morning...other drivers looking at me like i was a mental... and i couldn't give a shit....amazing song!!

  • thank you for this video..been waiting long time for this..very cool..

  • Looking damn long time for the full vid of this. It's not that i am not a fan of pac, but sometimes original songs are a way better than their cover versions. THX 4 UPLOAD!!

  • Thank you !!

  • Finally... I find the original song. People these days need to listen to some real music, like this one for example. Today they have that mentally disabled rap, and back then they had pure music. Thumbs up for this video.

  • @DeadFrontierOfficer Mentally disabled rap, yeah. I'm sorry, but you are speaking with your head up your ass - there is plenty of fine music out there today, including, yes, rap, that you are ignoring in order to speak vitriolically about 'the good ol' days' of music. If you don't care for overarching trends in music today, that's fine (there are many I am also disquieted by), but please stop with these crude, almost comical generalizations.

  • @BodeVanLot - How many singer/songwriter/musicians are there in the rap industry? And I don't mean each, I mean 'rappers' that can do all three. Turning on a beatbox and shouting into a mic aint music, especially with Autotune. Writing down some gangsta lyrics don't make you a songwriter. Slapping some fat ho's arse don't make you a musician. You know what rappers are? Performers, that's it. Other people do all the work, they just get up on stage and do a show. Music today is mostly shit.

  • @DenverChad Music has been mostly shit since we started making it so don't pretend that there was a time when there were only a hand full of good bands/musicians the ones we consider classics are the ones who stood out over everyone else doing the exact same thing at the time.

  • @DeadFrontierOfficer mentally disabled rap?

    you sir, are a fool.

  • @DeadFrontierOfficer fucking good on ya son...well said.

  • @DeadFrontierOfficer Finally you found the original? That statement get me to think that you belive 90's rap are mentally disabled, if so you are mistaken. That is todays rap. 2Pac's song with this melody is a great song. 80 and 90's rap are real rap, and are also music.

  • Its a great song, but what dis-illusions me is how Bruce Hornsby peddles the song these days. In its orginal format here it is a protest against Reaganesque monetarist callousness about unemployment and the racial segregation that this new economic policy has inflicted by default on african americans. You see him on Good morning America now and its all tarted up and presented as light bluesy pop for the over forties. The message seems to have been lost, even by the creator. Sad.

  • The original and best !! A facsimile is never as good as the real thing, so leave it alone you fools !! Kieran, Blackpool.

  • II was my pleasure to post this, I was SICK of seeing JOE BLOW hormone and his stupid piano thinking they could play this

  • @bloodlet999 THANK YOU!!! I got so sick of sifting through those stupid remakes...and clips of talented little johnny trying to do this great song!

  • @bloodlet999 who is Joe Blow hormone?

  • Finally a good version!

And lets hope they keep this one up.

  • Let's see how long it's up this time before it gets taken down,

    Thanks for the reupload.

  • @Ilovetheplatypus FINALLY... I've found it! Does this get taken down a lot then? Why is that?

  • @CKGoldiing This video has been up about 100 times in the last five years. WMG likes to make copyright claims on it even though Bruce himself doesn't care if it's on youtube.
