Yes, from the government, not the people; and you kind of provoked their people and government, so what do you expect?
But these are kids (kids from non-loyal families who kind of deserve their gap in education and poverty for not praising Kim Jong-il enough, but kids none the less...) or young adults rather. Do you think they all have bombs around their waists? If you do, you're fucking stupid, and paranoid.
South Koreans are cold, rude, and inconsiderate. They treat North Koreans as second class citizens. Its no wonder why so many prefer to go to the USA instead.
@popeyenolive such a baby, a arrogant cocky bitch who thinks the US is the best nation on earth and how superior americans are to other nationalites, sterotyping just makes you seem like a 5 yr old kid
@popeyenolive The USA doesn't exactly welcome refugees / immigrants with open arms. We haven't set up schools to teach English and assimilate people escaping poverty in Mexico and South America.
North Koreans would be too psychologically traumatized to go to America because of the truth on America that KCTV news often informs the people of; this is why, though I disagree with their actions, the preference is clear for a culture closer to theirs, despite being infested with capitalism.
@popeyenolive Please don't make assumptions about all South Koreans like you've got them all figured out. I'm S. Korean and I don't appreciate you saying that I'm "cold, rude, and inconsiderate." I mean, you don't even know anything about me..
i gotta love this! they have become south koreans! but i would prefer for them where they can be called Koreans in an uncomplicated way, not South Koreans or North Koreans.
I'm surprised. South Korea's not known to be charitable; its welfare state and state in general is nearly non-existent and the South is raped by capitalism.
Is it very difficult to get a job as an English teacher here?

I agree, but most American rednecks are ironically worse-fed, worse-nourished and nearly as uneducated as the unloyal class of DPRK traitors.

I'm very happy this school is in existence. I hope to volunteer at this school or others like it someday.
