  • Funny, I have always heard them yelling "Tommy Tommy"...But all these years I thought they were yelling "Drummers! Drummers!" like saluting the snare drummers and the guy with the big drum

Also look at the citizens smiling at Harrison Ford when he keeps looking back. They obviously know who he is and keep looking at him and trying to keep up with him :)

  • Tommy Lee Jones deserved more than an oscar for his role

  • I always wondered what that guy at 01:36 said. Thanks for putting that up in the description.

  • How the hell did Tommy Lee Jones win the Oscar that year over Ralph Fiennes, John Malkovich and Leo for fuck sakes? Those three outshined him.

    Bullshit win, Oscars. Bullshit win.

  • Mr. President, what are you doing, running away from the FBI. I think your wife Grace will be pissed when she hears about this. Your daughter Alice may be ashamed of you.

This is such a classic film, definitely one of my favorites.

  • In the exact same frame that Roland Burris is in at the one minute mark three persons to the right of him is Mayor Richard M Daley.

  • im pretty sure if i saw harrison ford walking next to me in a parade, i would freak out.

  • Where is your source about the parade filming 'fun fact'? Hollywood productions cannot just 'enter a parade on the spur of the moment'. These scenes take hours, if not days, to film with multiple cameras, lights and massive rigging.

  • @travisw5415 from IMDb

"The scene where Kimble is running through the St.Patrick's Day parade was not scripted. This was a later addition by Andrew Davis. Davis who is a native of the city, really wanted to capture the parade and was granted permission from the mayor's office to film the day of the parade. All shot with a hand held steady cam."

  • @travisw5415 I believe it's been mentioned by the director in an interview. In any event, with the right film stock and a Steadicam it's completely possible to shoot something like this on the spur of the moment using just available light.

  • That is so cool. XD I know he's a professional and everything, but I would be kind of annoyed if I was trying to stay in character and people around me kept shouting my real name.

  • EHHHH TOMMMEHHHHH

  • I'm in this!! My Irish dancing school is the school in the background. =) So fun!

  • Just saw the scene flipping channels. I thought that was the good Senator.

  • The only thing wrong with "The Fugitive" is that, if you think about it, why wasn't the real research about the man with one arm and prosthetics and the connection to the villian actually done by defense attorneys and detectives BEFORE the trial and BEFORE he was found guilty? That's not a nitpicking question--all of that research would have been done before the trial--and the guy would not have been found guilty. They needed to explain this in the movie. As it is, it makes no sense.

  • I've never caught the "Tommy! Tommyyyy! Woooo!" before! XD

  • I actually think that someone in the crowd also yelled out tommy at 1:23-1:26. Sounded like it.

Wondering if that cop tommy flashed his fake badge to was a real cop or an actor. Pretty bad cop if he was real, just aknowledging him as an officer seeing a badge for no more than a second ;)

  • I was watching this the other day, and I noticed Roland Burris in the parade. He is at the 1:00 mark. If you don't know who he is, he took Obama's senate seat after Obama took office as president.

  • You would think they would(the producers) be scared of security with just a "spur of a moment" thing like this?

  • Yeah. Although...if done cleverly, nobody in the crowd or parade would question or notice them enough to bother them. And kudos to Tommy Lee Jones for being so deep in his character. Saw that real policeman stop him in the middle of the parade (at 1:05)? Heehee, Tommy just flashed his fake badge like a pro and the man let him through.

  • where is full movie .i love this movie

  • cool i luv the st pattys day parade and ive seen the green chicago river even though its always green:) harrisons from chicaog too i alyways go there
