  • Wonderful.~

  • i'm not convinced until richard dawkins says he's touched by it

  • FUCKING AMAZING. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONCE ALICE COOPER <3 <3 <3

  • i'm an athiest and this touched me... like a lot... i used to be catholic but it was because of my parents what i hate is that you don't get to choose your beliefs as a child you just are told what to believe in like you don't get the choice of taking eucharist or having a baptism when your young and you just believe that's what everyone does... i hate religion it's fucked up... but i do respect you if you're catholic, jewish, or whatever i'm not trying to disrespect anyone

  • Alice cooper rocks!

  • this is so deep

  • F*cki it! Along Came a Spider and Alice Cooper Goes To Hell are among the best albums this ugly mofo made.

    I luv this dude :))

  • Bible makes a mockery out of God.Good song though,I'd say Mr.Cooper would be a muslim or something if he had researched,I mean most of us are members of our religions because of our parents,we pray blindly. But both Christianity and Judaism are crap if you stopped for a second to think about it.

  • @MrAlpixoid It is all crap, now dont get me wrong, i am all for religion, but i say all religions are crap because they are not run by god, they are run by men. Thats why i dont following a religion, but my own heart. I read the Bible and I make judgements for my own sake, some parts are bad like the whole taking rights from women, and other parts are good like the parts about peace. You need to let your heart by your guid, not a man who preaches who could verry well be corrupted himself.

  • @myr576 I totally agree with you religion is crap and it is ran by man. Thats why Jesus hated it. Look at how he was at odds with the pharisees. It was because they lost touch as to what they were there for. You are right about preachers also. They are just men or women who are humans and flawed like all of us. Let God be your guide in your heart. He will guide you if you ask him. :)

  • @Kwazziegirls James 1:27

  • I never liked Alice Cooper, and now I know why.

  • You should all watch the video "Surprise! Alice Cooper is a Christian." You can hear it from his own lips, that he actually believes in "Bible darkness," as some like to refer to it...

  • @1John416 : Bible darkness? Whats that? Mind to explain it to me bro? :D

  • <3

  • @jrobb001 You r the stereotypical child who's simply rehearsing what he's heard his parents say. u have absolutely no idea what ur talking about. At all. Categorizing all christians as delusional just shows how ignorant & close-minded u really are. I'm a Christian. I don't evangalize. I don't judge. We all have a right to believe in wut we want. Its punks like u that make people think that athiests are judgemental pricks who are appalled the moment someone has a differing opinon. Grow up.

  • @TimCallahan1990 Sorry, I partially posted to the wrong person.

Everybody “judges” nearly every moment of their lives.

If we didn’t we would be destroyed by our own Ignorance.

You seem to be the product of a religious inculcation. There is hope for you, thank goodness.

There are many great mental-health professionals that can help you out of your dogma and darkness.

    Peace.

  • People need to learn that even songs on a concept album can have alternative meanings... stop being such exclusionists.

  • Oh, my Lord…

ALice Cooper - Ahaaa, now there is a wholesome and pristine Christian we can all emulate with pride (end sarcasm).

YUCK... Old aging rock stars are the dregs of humanity. After their moment of fame they begin preaching about their Imaginary Christian God and eternal life trying to recapture a little public attention. Hahahaha - Too STUPID.

Kids, don't let this happen to you. Christians are delusional and dangerous.

Seek reality and truth, not fear and Bible darkness.

    Peace.

  • @jrobb001 I'm sorry, good sir, but I am a christian, and I am not stupid. Your insensitive remark, in short, has offended me. I understand where you are coming from; blind faith IS stupid. To be a christian, though, you don't have to believe blindly. You can question if God exists, or if what he dose is right. And another thing. Alice Cooper on stage is a CHARACTER. That man is not real. The real Alice is a good guy and an example of how God and love can change your life. Think about it.

  • @SuperPoweredKing Everybody “judges” nearly every moment of their lives. If we didn’t we would be destroyed by our own Ignorance. Delusional superstitious people who prey on other people like predators are never to be trusted.

I believe Alice is a good guy, it's the religion that is bad.

Millions have been tortured and died because of the Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Think about this fact for a while.

    Peace.

  • @jrobb001 - If more people were like Alice Cooper the world be a better place. As for the "Old aging rock stars are the dregs of humanity" bit - can you really say this guy is aging? He's still got it. Plus this is a concept album, he is singing this song as if he were the fictional serial killer. Religious Extremists in general are dangerous and you come off as a rather big douche. Peace... when?

  • @MinionOfDeth2112 Peace? - When we have Compassion, Reason, Logic, and Rational people who are not infected with hateful religious dogma and who love this planet and life.

Religious wars suck. Christians who promote their religions to make money in the FAITH INDUSTRY are the worst. They can never be trusted to do the right thing.

Cooper is a religious NUT-CASE. Pure and simple.

Delusional Superstition is a SICKNESS. Reasonable Logic is a virtue.

    Peace for Humanity.

  • @jrobb001 - Even with Compassion, Reason, Logic and no religion I'd argue that there would still be war *land, oil, profit, racial/nationalist hate* and either way there would still be stupid people on this planet. My mother is Christian, she's a nice lady to me even though I'm an Atheist. She doesn't support waging war over religion and hates Evangelical types. Their not all bad. But hey, thats just my opinion. Auf wiedersehen...

  • who can dislike this...:\?

  • Just because the song title is Salvation. We get a whole bunch of Holy fucking rollers. Saying ,wow this guy is great, lets play this song at our next christian mass. Well thats all fine. But the follow-up song will be..I love the dead, of of his billion dollar babies album. And yes, that song is about having incredible sex with dead bodies. So I guess I will not hear that song at your cult.....I mean.Christian meetings.

  • I love Alice Cooper, I love how his albums can have funny or rocking stuff like "Catch me if you can" and "The one that got away" or metal/heavy stuff like "Vengence is Mine" but then can pull of something dark and serious like this.

  • Jeden z najlepszych kawałków

  • let us all prais this legend!!!

  • is ther a live version of this

  • hes my fav cuz hes the only christian rockstar i no of. is Bon Jovi christian

  • amazing anyone can be a witness for Christ in a creative way. alice is one. he has a big crowd to introduce God to godless world.

  • I think Alice is great, the album is great, and the song is great. But I can't believe how many bible bashers have come out of the woodworks in its praise! I wonder how many are true Alice fans or are just latching on to the 'message'? Ah, I'm sure I'll get flak for this...

  • @Horatio Honestly, I don't believe they hear what the lyrics are saying.

    "Someone died for me..."

That's far beyond a "concept album." That *is* talking about Christ. I wouldn't say this if Alice weren't a true Christian.

  • Comment removed

  • @warriorofwrestlingv3 Well, I'd have to respectfully disagree with you. Thank you for your kindness.

    Grace and Love

  • @StevieWonder501 Have you ever listened to any of his interviews about his faith? You should the character Alice Cooper is just that. His albums and concerts are morality stories showing us that if we are like Alice Cooper we are worthty of Death. He is married to the same women for 22years,he doesnt drink,or do drugs. He talks about his faith but does not hit you over the head with a bible. How about showing the same amount Of acceptance Love and Compassion he is willing to show you

  • @Larry731000 Oh, I do try to show God's love to others...and I fail much of the time, because I am still imperfect and growing as a Christian. But I know His power is made perfect in weakness, and we all need a childlike faith before Him. He pours out His love into my heart by the Spirit He's given me, and even though I fail much of the time, I know my Father loves me all the same.

As for this song, maybe I do have a wrong interpretation of it -- it's no burden to me if I do :) Grace and Love

  • Alice says " What have I done , have I wasted my life for fun" The thing is he knows

what he may have traded for a life that when he stands before God and what is asked "What have you done" a whole life almost gone by , now he realizes what scripture says Not when a man has the whole world but can lose his very soul, what will you do if your very soul is required of you this very night. I believe

Alice has been busy giving to others now and there is time left to be pleasing to His True Lord

  • i love this album, it tells a story :) this song is awesome!

  • Gotta Love ~ Salvation ! C: No Man Knows the True Cost of God's Gr8ce ! <:

  • @SuperJesusFreak He has been for a long time now. His father was a preacher, that's where he learned his stage presence. Real sweet guy too

  • i didnt know he was christian.

  • exelente!!!!!!!!

  • I've never cried listening to song.

    Until now.

  • I have always liked Alice, but I gotta say his voice is not the same. when he sings the verses of this song it sounds like a live version, not a studio recording. He doesn't have the same control that he used to have!

  • @yeshualovesme1 but hes so excellent.......anything he does is epic

  • @SnOrKaLBoY1996 eh. not anymore! But I still like Feed My Frankenstine" from Wayne's World!

  • @yeshualovesme1 well thats your opinion , but mine is that he is impressive to the max :P

  • @yeshualovesme1 He's mid sixties now. Our voices lose a bit between 35-65.. but the lungs still good. HERE IS A ROCK STAR WHO SAID YES TO JESUS CHRIST. THAT is a TRUE Miracle. Praise the name of the Lord Jesus Christ..

  • @sparwood8 I am happy that he is a believer for sure. Praise Jesus!

  • @yeshualovesme1 Da fuck?

  • @sparwood8 what da fuck?

  • @darkprofane Is that supposed to be a question? Try this: Subject, predicate... use a verb or two

  • @sparwood8 you are a cunt. Wow, it worked, thank you grammar man!

  • @darkprofane have a nice day! :) :) :) :) Jesus loves you!

  • I have a music assessment coming up in school soon and was thinking of singing this

  • i loved this album but i didnt like the fact that some of the songs had a distortion effect on the vocals and music

    brilliant song btw

  • this is such a great song. i didnt think I was going to like this album after people telling me it wasnt great but I have to admit its not my favourite (he has so many great albums, its up there but its not ahead of trash, brutal planet, dragon town, dirty diamonds and eyes of alice cooper but I do absolutly love it to bits.

  • Amazing song... It shows that even a cruel criminal can feel guilty and wants to be saved. That he does care and he murdered because of hate and...Voices. It makes him look dramatic and innocent, don't you think? Just like a little, helpless child. Amazing and totally unexpected! Fantastic idea and great music (of course ;)) . The whole album rocks, I really like it, the concept is amazing. Thank you very much for uploading! :)

  • you 4got "whats differant now" in the 2nd verse...

  • The song Salvation is a beautiful song. I loved it. That's gr eat. It's nice because at least Alice didn't use his growling voice as he sang. I heard him on golf monster. I believe he wanted to be christian because he felt the love of God instead of alcohol.

  • duh people! Listen to Alice you will find he is not a monster! All the things you have heard are lies! Listen to Dead babies! It is about neglect not him wanting to kill! Are you deft? LISTEN!

  • Never too late for salvation...

  • Wow, I have been a Christian for fifteen years. Never have I heard a song that speaks to what I felt at that time more than this one. Hopefully this song's lyric at least leads people to think, to ponder the possibility. I'd like to perform this in a worship service at Church, could you imagine Alice Cooper being used in a worship service, HOW COOL!

  • Most of the people just see his song "poison" or other famous songs of him but he has so much more good songs and lyrics. This song is briliant because its sad and strong together and not manny songs bring it on to such a point.

    Thanks for reading

    Crusar

  • There lies in the deepest soul of any human being the NEED for God and His Son Jesus. It is there. The Holy Spirit is an actual spirit. Next time your hurting, say In the name of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit leave me alone and you will feel something lift off of you. Not just feel better, but something lift. Those are the demons fleeing just like the Bible says they will at the mention of Jesus Christ name.

  • Many Prophets saw the condition of man once was blind but now i see. SEE!!!

  • Alice NEVER uses profanity that i have ever heard only a good man can portray the evils of man like he does a REAL MAN WITH A SOUL IS RARE IN THIS BUSINESS!!!

SAW MOTORHEAD OPEN FOR ALICE A LONG TIME AGO AND AGAIN THIS YEAR WITH ZOMBIE.

  • @TheMadman1967 Alice has used profanity in one song and a couple of times in concert but yeah he hardly ever does.

this song is goddamn awesome. love the chorus.

  • So, this is the first Cooper song I've heard.

I'm Christian, but I listen to alot of secular stuff. I tried to stay away from the satanic stuff. I heard the lyrics and was like "This from a shock rocker?!" :O

    It actually sounds really good.

Especially for a 60 year old. I mean, seriously, he sounds like a kid. So weird. Not that I'm complaining. I'm gonna go buy this song and check out the album :D

  • great inspirational song , one of my favorites for sure

  • do some research Alice is a christian.

  • I realised what he wants to say in this song .. and i was totally thrilled.. "someone died for me ( =Jesus)''

  • YEAH I KNOW. IT'S COOPER.

  • @gethsenamane Cooper is a Christian, he's said so many times and put the thematic in several albums such as THE LAST TEMPTATION

  • @sonic1285 Yep! For sure.

  • OK. tHE SONG SALVATION IS OFF OF THE SPIDER ALBUM. IT IS A CONCEPT ALBUM ABOUT A SERIAL KILLER. THIS SONG IS HIS LAST HOPE OF TRYING TO MAKE GOOD. NOT ABOUT COPPERS OWN BELIEFS. IT IS AN ALBUM. A STORY. MAYBE IF YOU BOUGHT IT AND LISTEN TO IT ALONG WITH THE LYRICS AND PLOT LINE. MAYBE....AND ONLY..MAYBE WOULD YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THE PLAY IS. JUST LIKE ALL COOPER ALBUMS, THEY TELL A CHAPTER WITHIN THE SONGS . BUT EACH SONG TOGETHER TELLS THE STORY.

  • good words dude couldn't of said it better....

  • @gethsenamane You don't have to yell.

  • @SuperPoweredKing Sorry about that. Cheers.

  • U2 and Uriah Heep were all about songs to their spiritualilty. There's a lot of good rock and roll that happens to be that way. Slash is touring with Alice right now!

  • i hope all of you get this message: this is his very specific song that gives evidence for his faith and his invitation for anyone who listens to him that they can experience the same grace. if you think i'm wrong and that i'm just caught up in my own religion to view something objectively, watch his more recent interviews. Cooper's being serious.

  • I like Alice. Great Songs. Funny when people get old they "Find God' Maybe he was thinking about that shit as he is growing old.

We all have some regrets in our lives.

  • again, watch the more recent interviews. don't asume. i didn't believe in his claim of faith the first time i heard about it, so i looked into it.

  • @nstygatr fuck thats what i said to bad they coulden't find him sooner like some

  • Alice Cooper

    You're my god

  • great tune

  • Man, this dude shaped my warped life. He's back.

I was just listening to the Schools Out album on iPod and then listened to Welcome To My Nightmare and I really missed this music.

    Welcome back.

  • one of his bests soungs

  • He can be sweet , romantic , sad , happy , villain , reaper in the same album .. he is amazing

  • I agree!!!

    He is awsome!

  • @13panagiwtis13 He is not amazing he's ASOME!

  • Why do I care

    When did I change

    It's very strange

    What did I change...

reminds me my change one day in 1993... next day after my prayer to Jesus I was made totaly new man... it felt strange at first but then became my new nature... no more swearing, no hate, no anger, no more stupid religious indoctrination etc. but real peace and joy instead.

  • Wut?

  • Amen, that's a graet testimony. i spoke one like when got baptised a few years ago.

    LIFE CHANGING!

everything comes undone, and then redone in his glorious light. ahhh, God's blessings are so real and pure, i just get down on my knees and thank Jesus Christ sometimes.

always pray, he hears our hearts.

  • those are sweet words =)

  • what the fuck alice cooper doesn't scream ????

  • alice cooper never screams ... manson does so ..

  • it would too much

  • What would be too much?

  • this song proves alice is christian

  • i wouldn't place too much 'faith' in that, i write songs that would suggest that i am, im atheist i just use it as metaphors

  • Well,Alice Cooper clearly says,that he's a christian in his interviews

  • Except he explicity stated that he is.

  • one doesn't need to PROVE anything to anyone but God. i've never met him so i can't really tell for myself how he is, but i've HEARED he's an alright dude.

  • You've met him before.

  • naaaaaahhhhhh XD

  • Yaaaaahhhhhh

  • this album was REALLY good i liked it just as much as his 70's stuff, best hes made in a long time not to say his other albums havent been good, but this album was amazing

  • what did i change? whats difriend now? its very strange! what did i change?

  • i was cry on this song :O its so beatyfull

  • I love this album!

  • BEAUTIFUL!! :D

  • love this song rock on alice

  • Comment removed

  • Can someone give me the piano tabs???? i cant find them!!

  • WHAT IF I'M WRONG??

  • This is the serious song on the album. I love it. Only Alice could say a message like this and sound so cool doing it. ;D

  • *Kneeling respectfully to his favorite Rock God*

  • amazing song, he's my favorite artist

  • @nirzig Very few have stood the test of time like he has! ; )

  • At the concert on Goosey Night (Englewood NJ), he hammered a stake into a baby's heart while he was singing this song...Then he was tied up in a straitjacket and hung. :D

  • I went to see him in Englewood this year. No babies (sadly) But I got a guitar pick and Cooper money XD

  • If I may ask, "Cooper money"?

  • The "Cooper" money is a green dollar bill (fake of course) with his face in the middle.

  • food is my salvation

  • Y is food ur salvation? No offence, but r u fat or something?

  • just baught this album, and i got hooked on it! this song especially. on of his best cd's.

    alice cooper rocks!

    -g3tinthering

  • he changed a bit his voice. sounds nice

  • no he didnt

  • Is a great album... this is a great song, i love that he can take me at the 70's with this songs...

really, this sonds like a old and dusty album of Cooper... welcome to my nigthmare, From the Inside.. or something like that

  • Is in songs like this that you can appreciate The influence the Beatles has on Alice.

  • No.

  • I think, this is the most beautiful song from the album...

  • @shadow666wodahs I think this is one of his most beautiful songs....ever.

  • Great.Great album two.Hopefuly not last,He still gots it after 60 ears.I hope hell never stop.

Alice Cooper is true legend of rocknroll!

  • I believe he only has two ears!

  • lol

  • killed by love and this are my two favorite songs off the album

  • wtf he doesnt ever scream. what the heck???

  • Why do you WANT him to scream???

  • His voice sounds so young!

Why couldn't he sing like this more often instead of screaming?

  • "why couldn't he sing like this more instead of screaming?"

because thats what made Alice famous was his sand paper growl, and nobody does it better than coop. But I agree he should sing more often, he has a really nice voice.

  • I Love this song, this whole album for that matter. It was definitly worth the wait.

  • 110% agree with you.

  • 120% agree with you both :P

But yes, it was really worth the extra waiting :)
