Still the laat best Need For Speed game I ever played.

I bought and played Hot Pursuit 2 on the PS2 ten years ago this year and it was garbage compared to this one.

And that "Hot Pursuit" crap game they brought out in 2010 was even worse, If I wanted realism, I'd got out and crash and burn in a real car, I play video game because I want to have fun, not a replication of real life, and that's why I play NFS III Hot Pursuit in 2012...

the graphics were insane for the time. nfs3 was such a huge jump from nfs2 it blew my mind. specially after i bought a voodoo2 card to enjoy the full glide goodness.

NFS3, NFSU2, NFSMW, NFSC are the best of the NFS games. After carbon they turned into crap though. I havnt bought any since carbon. I DONT WANT CLOSED TRACK SIMULATION RACING FROM NFS. I WANT ARCADISH STREET RACING! When I want to race on a close circuit track ill just pull out my copy of Grid.

I loved how, when there's a higher level of Officer, and Cop Car, joining the Pursuit, they changed the Voices a little bit... ;)... (Sigh, Memories)... I wish NFS'd smarten up, and make the games like they used to, and not need help from friggin' Criterion & DICE... At least they have a bunch of different Cop Cars & Regulars but like, I found when I played NFS: HP there was something lacking... I guess I just miss playin' this & High Stakes on comp. and High Stakes on PS1...

The Diablo SV. Beautiful car.

This game is still one of the best. Driving under the speed limit will actually make the cops leave you alone. Playing as a cop actually meant stopping the racers with your car/spike strip/makeshift roadblock, rather than smashing them into oblivion a la NFS:HP 2010.
