  • Ahhahahaha ripples only girls drill ex does that and the rifle spins are also girls drill ex way of spinning the rifle. we do the one hand spins the wrist breaker, fancy and port arms regular I'm a male and our jrotc don't tolerate crap damn man we got 300 points out of 250 points and kept the gold star #1 in Alabama

  • the fail at 4:50

  • God i hate ROTC. Biggest waste of time at least in high school.

  • wait! i see the instrucerst r wearing ACUS army combat uniforms but the cadets and another intructor is wearing marpat a marine wron camo uniform sooo wth

  • @SUPERTASKFORCE0 Mcjrotc is such a small program that we have to compete with army schools mostly, and sometimes navy, air force, etc.

  • damn tht hurt their score when they drop the rifles. D:

  • @dave1serg2 We actually ended up getting 2nd place with all of those dropped rifles. It definetly kept us from getting 1st though.

  • @carson0524 oh wells thts good :)

  • "sir... SIR" loll

  • can anyone tell me how to get a jrotc in my high school?

  • @lordoftheringsblows Really you can't. Some one with the school board does it. I recommend you writing the school board requesting that they open a JROTC unit at your school and list the benefits it would offer.

  • @lordoftheringsblows I couldn't find any information on the other branches but I am sure that if you do some looking around you can find something. You should probably write a letter to your principal and tell him how he can apply or like I said before write the school board. Here is the link for the application. Go to google and type in navy JROTC application. and you'll see starting a unit. Try searching the same thing with other branches.

  • Is this mandatory to do in the Marine Corps?

  • @AyoKittenPro Learning drill yes, doing this,no

  • @AyoKittenPro Marine Corp teaches Armed regulation drill, and Unarmed regulation drill. This video is Armed Exhibition drill. Although the Marine Corp does have the Silent drill platoon. But in boot camp all you learn is armed and unarmed Regulation drill.

  • okay not a bad sequence..

not to burst your buble it is a bit slppy but still kinda good...

im was in jrotc myself we are the number one school in all westen regionals of armed drill team.If you would like to check out our school type in (military ball 2011 part 2)

  • nice

  • they r funny

  • at least they dropped together. that was pretty legit tho

  • what does twirlling a rifle have to do with killing people?

  • I wish our hs has marine corps jrotc. we only have fuckin' air force jrotc, so i have to do marine cadets

  • And palm bay won state this year so SUCK IT!

  • People keep asking "what good does this do for anyone?" WELLLLL, what good does football do for anyone? Its a competitive sport. Not a life style.. For entertainment.

  • wahts kinda high school is this, shit i woudnt wanan go there !

  • Americans are fucking retarded.

  • @DayLight95 shut the fuck up..

  • @DayLight95 Go fuck yourself.

  • They should join dancing with the stars, they may have a chance.

  • so when do they actually train instead of dancing about like faries?

  • 4:51 for fail

  • What exactly is the point of these silent drills and all the time they must take to learn? I gather it might make the soldier abit more familiar with the weight and balance of the rifle and train his arms abit... . But isn't it just for show, to keep the soldiers busy when they cant do other stuff and perhaps just teach them to follow instructions by the letter, nomatter how nonsensical?

  • @therealkakkamakkara discipline and skill

  • @therealkakkamakkara it teaches them teamwork and if one guy fails they all fail

  • @therealkakkamakkara that or they're LEARNING how to focus, maintain bearing and follow orders, all while under a little pressure... it's a drill faggot.

  • NEGATIVE!!! DROPPED RIFLE = PUSHUPS with the rifle resting on the back of your hands. Pay up!!!

  • eww very sloppy needs alot of work

  • Good thing they learned this. Just in case while at war they need to break into a dance routine.

  • @hubertandclyde Drill dates back before Christ walked the earth. Its how military's marched into battle. They steal teach drill in boot camp. There are many forms of drill, this one being exhibition drill. Drill is not taught for going to war. It is taught to discipline and to work as a team.

  • @carson0524 Anything can be taught for discipline and team work, why not teach something useful?

  • @hubertandclyde Read the comment I sent to aseticelite

  • @carson0524 Yeah, I read it. Still doesn't explain why you would learn these characteristics with something that isn't useful.

  • @hubertandclyde ok first of all it doesnt matter what you think try i t bofore you call it use less drill teaches disciplin hand eye and teamwork leadership and followership so stfu and second how would you know if its useless y dont you go join the military and try stuuf like this instead of making fun of it this is what the people that give you the rite to trash talk them do for fun its nothing more thatn fun to me but it also serious and plus it looks better to march thatn stampead around

  • @sgtshoeman You don't even know the basics of spelling. They should teach you that instead. You are obviously an idiot, that can't even spell. So why would I care what you think? Oh, and I don't join because I have better things to do than twirl a gun.

  • @hubertandclyde its the internet calm down thei buddy and you dont join cause your a pussy what do you do when you hear gun fire you probly shit your pants and run the other way when marines hear gunfire they stand tall and run toward it and i bet you couldnt even spin a rifle you probly break a nail and then cry cause your a litle bitch

  • @sgtshoeman This is your problem, you think anyone not in the military is a bitch. What is the point debating with an ignorant asshole like yourself?

  • @hubertandclyde no i dont think that i think anyone not in the military that makes fun of the military over youtube is a bitch

  • @sgtshoeman Saying over YouTube is irrelevant, because if I met you I would have the same argument. Also, obviously only people who aren't in the military are going to make fun of it, if you are in the military you aren't unless you are an idiot because why did you join in the first place. I'm not making fun of the military in general, in just the stupid drill. Try again retard.

  • @hubertandclyde clearly your a fat kid who probly couldnt do drill dril isnt even in the military that long except for silent drill platoon a selected group of indaviduals its mostly in high school and colladge rotc programs because think of it how could they tech you how to shoot and stuff in school so try again retard i diodnt try i succeded bitch suck my dick you lose i win

  • @sgtshoeman Please, please, please learn how to spell and use grammar. I am not fat, and to say so is just stupid. Who cares how long the drill is used, or when it is used. The point is that there is definitely something more useful that could be done during that time. So no you didn't even come close to succeeding.

  • @hubertandclyde ok what else would you like highschool student to do they cant train like military you cant shoot guns and we pton fridays soo hmmm i think i win

  • @sgtshoeman Yup, you keep doing your dance routine. If defending your little dance makes you a winner, I want to lose.

  • @hubertandclyde its not dancing and you already lost you cant win sorry

  • @sgtshoeman I just said I don't want to win. Are you mentally retarded?

  • @hubertandclyde you wantto cause you cant lmao salted bye now

  • @sgtshoeman 'Salted'? You really are stupid aren't you? Your grasp of the English language is that of a 4th grader.

  • @hubertandclyde how old r you cause by how yo seem your probly like 45 year old vergin living in your parents basement with no job a starwars fan who sits at home all day watching hentei congrats u r now the second person i know like this

  • @sgtshoeman Which two people? I am zero of the things you've described. You are exactly what I have described though.

  • @hubertandclyde fail you never discribed anything lmao dumbass bitch

  • @sgtshoeman I described you as having a grasp of the English language comparable to that of a 4th grader. I also described you as being stupid. You just proved me right.

  • @hubertandclyde so i could still kill you in over 200 different ways with my bare hands

  • @sgtshoeman O you ignore my point of you being stupid, proving that you are, then resort to violent threats via YouTube...The frustrating thing is that you are probably too moronic to see why that is so lame and idiotic.

  • @hubertandclyde by now go play with ou dolls now

  • @sgtshoeman Hahaha. "by now go play with ou dolls now." That is one of the most retarded sentences I have ever read. I'm assuming you would mean to say 'Bye, go play with your dolls now.' It's okay, you only made about 5 mistakes in that short sentence, haha.

  • @carson0524 this is just way for soldiers to spend time.. :D

  • @hubertandclyde I think it's more for show. You know, like at parades and stuff

  • @hubertandclyde You wouldnt understand unless you were actually in it. It teaches bearing, focus, and discipline while under all that pressure. Thats why its called a "drill team" you ass.

  • @Karl88ful Why not use a more useful activity to teach these things?

  • @hubertandclyde It is a part of the ROTC program... It makes sense..and you don't

  • @Karl88ful Just saying it makes sense does not make it true. The skills they learn in doing this exercise could have been taught in a more useful way.

  • I really dont see the point to doing this. Only the way of trusting your companions and working as a team. But there are many other ways of teaching. Besides we want ppl that can shoot accurately their rifles, not play with them and spin them.

  • @aseticelite Well obviously you have never heard of the Marines. They are the first to get called into battle. Well they use drill, and so does every other military branch. It teaches discipline becuase when your standing at attention or marching and a fly lands on your nose and it itches really bad, you can't move AT ALL. Or you'll get an ass chewing by a DI. It teaches team work because everyone marches off of the same step and moves at the same time.Go search the Silent drill platoon

  • awsomme!! i wish i did stuff like this , probs never will :(

  • not to bad, need to work on bearing a little bit more but all together it wasnt bad. Im on drill team at Caprock High School M.C.J.R.O.T.C. and we do our routine in our Dress Blue Deltas. You'll should try it, it makes u look pretty bad ass. I think the officers had some pretty good bearing though. No offense but that routine was REALLY easy and youll missed some good throws. but u still kicked ass and represented the Marine Corp well and i congragulate u for that. Semper Fi

  • @MarineCorpSemperFi11 We have practice blues that we sometimes practice in, but most competitions we don't even were blues. Usually charlies, digitals, or deltas. You can't really see any of there rank but out of three rifles that hit one cadet was a C/captain the other was a C/ 1st Lt, and the other was the Battalion Sgt. Maj. In this routine I must say that the Enlisted Cadets out performed the Officers. Thank you for your comment.

P.S The routine has recently been modified this yr.

  • @MarineCorpSemperFi11 Dress blues and delta's are two different uniforms. You guys practice with the Khaki shirt or the dress blues coat?

  • @carson0524 actually Dress Blue Deltas was correct... dress blues are a category and there are alphas (black coat with white dress gloves and medals), bravos (black coat with just ribbons) charlies (khaki long sleeve with tie and ribbons) and deltas (short sleeve khaki)..... with the service uniform there are alphas bravos and charlies....

  • @MarineCorpSemperFi11 Yeah, I bet that acting like a cheerleader with a gun makes you look totally bad ass :))

  • how many hours of practice?

  • @cedwards94 We usually practice from 3:45-5:00 every Tuesday and Thursday. But before this meet we only got in one practice on the Tuesday before the meet and it was only an hour and the week before that we only had one practice. We have drill team 7th period too but we only practice our regulation drill in that period and its about 30 mins of practice.

  • @carson0524 Thank you for replying. Very outstanding display. A lot of focus and mistakes, but with regular practice of drill and ceremonies, it all falls into place. I do have experience with honor and color guard, from the Vandenberg Air Force Base Honor Guard Team. My Service is the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, down at the Squadron on Base. Keep up the outstanding job!

    Look Professional,

    C/A1C Edwards C/DA

  • @cedwards94 Yea if you look a my video the redemption. That was the meet after this one, and we got first place. Our school usually always places 1st or 2nd in ex. and almost always places overall. One of my friends that was on drill team is in the air force too. He is on the Kadena base honor guard.

  • @carson0524 hmm i go to lynn english we are curently 5th in the nation from daytona nationals last year and we practice everyday 6:30 am til 7:30 am the 2:45 pm til 6:00 pm thats y were so good though

  • @sgtshoeman My school just won the Marine Corp Jrotc Florida State meet.

  • @carson0524 very nice display of focus you can seen the hard work put in it, but also the mistake where ones that stood out, if in blues they would stand out more especially with the white trousers but over all very good and very creative.

    Was this a new routine?

  • @3malaos Jrotc isn't authorized to wear the white trousers. But this routine had been around since about 05'. The whole routine was modified this year, this video has the old routine. Thank you for your comment.

  • @carson0524

acully JROTC is authorized to wear the white trousers. i was in it and my gf is in it now, if you look at my my vid thats her in her white's during her drill comp

  • @3malaos That is actually the first time I have ever seen a jrotc cadet wearing the white trousers. My instructor told me that the white trousers were only for weddings, some ceremonies, and the silent drill platoon.

  • @carson0524 well as you can tell its definitely not silent but not the whole squad has them only individual and color guard this is the first year of them having them i think they changed it cuz the blue's trousers are having the blood stripe took off cuz other marines think it is disrespectful since they had to work for theirs and just given ours

  • drop at 5:22 but it was still a pretty great drop haha that was so legit

  • @QuickDodgeTheBullets What drop at 5:22? The drop happens at about 4:54.

  • yea you did well but the drops take a big toll on points and yea you all had bearing but not through the whole routine......

  • Palm Bay was way better when Chelsea was there

  • future silent drill platoon! they did excellent. yeah they messed up once but they are only human! good job guys!

  • dam that was nice except the rifle drop other than that dam

  • You guys looked awsome, our drill team sucked this year. It amazes me how so many schools do the ripple line.

    - C/CPO Dexter, Baldwin HS

  • you guys were excellent. i have no doubt in my mind that you would have placed over our guys in Squad Ex. The difficulty demonstrated throughout your routine, along with the exchanges we amazing. Hope to see you guys at the next drill meet in February!

(c)1SG Jones, Winter Springs HS, Golden Bears

  • The guys did great our placed in all but one unarmed squad reg female. Hopefully this upcoming drill meet will be better. This month is gonna be intense.

    --C/Sgt Brubaker (Palm Bay Highschool)

  • Damn, you guys did great. Kept military baring too.

    -- C/Sgt Murphy (Zephyrhills Highschool)

  • Thanks. We would have definitely gotten 1st place for this if the rifles did not hit each others in the "four-mans". Military baring is something that our Marine Instructors take serious, they want us to look military when we o out there.

  • @carson0524 It's because the cadets were too close to eachother for that toss.

  • @Armed4Life07 Yeah I knew that. We messed up with the alignment on the ripple line and when we faced we were to close.

  • @shadeyuka Murphy! lol i didnt expect 2 find u on youtube hahaha but its truu u guys did great i waz at this drill meet
