So here's the storyline: 200 years after Fallout, an alien UFO destroys all electronics, and places new ones in the people, so we have no technology, then human civilization start again, starting Oblivion, which explains the Skyrim Giants (They hid up north and were evolved super-mutants), the the skeletons (dead people with the microchips controlling their movements), summoning (people summoning things with the chips, aliens transport it for them) and destruction (again, microchips. ) :D

It was supposed to dull and bleak. It is the post-apocalyptic wasteland where radiation causes all living things to expire and dust shot into the outer atmosphere by multiple nuclear explosions dim the sun. Hence no grass or trees.

Not only that, but the requirements for all of these mods are much much greater, therefore less people would be able to play it. Not to mention that it would never run on consoles.

@club4ghz Have to admit, while I get that the "Blasted Wasteland" look is integral to the FO Universe as a whole, kind of wish they'd gone with a look like this for FO3. I'm sure that's just me. I've just always thought that it would *really* highlight the futility of what man does by having the planet essentially reclaiming everything as man struggles to survive after nearly wiping themselves off the map. Can't imagine the *beast* of a PC you'd need to run this Mod. Brilliant work.

@RogueScholarBlue The 'Blasted Wasteland' look is admittedly a staple of 'Mankind done screwed up'. Mad Max, Book of Eli, Planet of the Apes, A Boy and his Dog, Zardoz.

Great way to feature having to scavenge for resources and what-not.

But I like this, the world will survive. Nature reclaiming everything and all that.

This is how the game should have looked. Radiation does not make a place have no wildlife (unless reaaaaaaaally excessive) and especially plants. Plants actually prosper in a slightly radioactive environment. Tchernobyl area is really green. And animals have a short enough lifespan in the wild so they don't have time to develop cancers and stuff.
