i got a 95 trans myself same red color its all stock except shift kit n flowmaster and i love that car to death i would NEVER EVER trade it for anything especailly for a mustang i beat a 98 stang cobra. mustangs are just disapointments when it comes to pefrormance and they look ugly and played out TRANS AM ALLL DA WAII BABY!!!!

Everything for my LT1 costs shit loads of money... I actually miss having my old 5.0 foxbody I could upgrade it so much cheaper than my LT1. I like my firebird alot, but really unless you want to keep it stock or build it balls to the walls engine wise its best to go with a mustang.

mustangs are better for alot of reasons they are cheaper and easyer to fix/tune up trans ams need alot more work done cause of the space of the block and cost alot more to give the same hp as you would want in a mustang personally i got both and made them both into showcars if you wanna race ill take you on on my bike 2007 gsxr 1000 baby!! running 9.2's

I seriously doubt it made 490 horses without the juice. I'm not doggin the car but the cc306 should make 430 at most. Even a trick flow kit with a .558 lift only makes 440 and that's more lift with a 1.5 rocker than the cc306 with a 1.6! If I'm wrong then it's my bad and I apologize but I'd love to see a dyno sheet

hey yours trans am are rare it got The 'Perform Transmission' button which was available in the 310 hp Trans Ams, gave a 25% increase in torque with every kickdown, and resulted in a maximum of 350 ft·lbf (470 N·m) of torque. It a performance package that only was available in 1995 one of the fastes trans am ever made. stock it go from 0-62 mpg in 4.9 sec.. i got a trans am like yours:D it owns corvette c5 stock vs stock

Thats BS the 2nd tranny button is for 2nd gear start it helps the tires get better traction at sacrifice of hp and tq. If the 2nd tranny button is rare than my does my 95 firebird 3.4 v6 have one stick dont have then cause they are mechanical and not computerized like autos.

Yurifiero, I suppose he's like me. I'm a die hard GM fan, and love just about every F body made, but I just love a 'Stang that much more.

Sure, Mustangs are less aerodynamic, some weigh more depending on generation, but 90% of GM guys will agree that they look, and sound a whole lot better than any F body. They also have 4.6's that are a bit more capable than most GM 5.7's. Plus, far more support in the aftermarket area.

Who knows.
